This variety contains 14.4% Protein as fed (77% dry matter), 2.83% Fat as fed (15.10% dry matter), 0.01% Magnesium as fed (0.06% dry matter), 0.18% Phosphorous as fed (0.96% dry matter), 1.78% Ash and 2.7% Carbohydrates as fed.

Where is the salmon sourced? Is it wild caught?

All fish, with the exception of tilapia and basa, are wild-caught in the ocean and purchased direct from the fishing companies. Along with the catch, there are certifications from the ships’ captains that the catches are dolphin- and turtle-safe. The organization Earth Island Institute looks to protect the environment and maintain fishing sustainability, and Earth Island Institute recognizes the practices of Weruva's manufacturing facility.

I purchase the 3 oz and 5 oz in this formula. 3 oz has a lot of gravy sauce, some meat. This is good for my cat with limited teeth. The 5oz has a lot of meat and less gravy. Good for my piggly-wiggly cat. My cats are finicky, they both like this formula as do the baby opossums we are feeding.

Turned poop black

My cat liked this and ate but I noticed her poops became black. My dog once got a hold of this food accidentally and it also turned her poop black. I was concerned

I was concerned for a GI bleed but once I switched foods it stopped. It also made her poops smell absolutely horrible. I felt like there was something wrong with this food and I was forced to throw it away.

Bad breath, but happy cat

My kitty likes this food. He likes it enough that I can hide medicine in it, and he will still eat it. It does have (no surprise) a strong odor, so cat's breath

My kitty likes this food. He likes it enough that I can hide medicine in it, and he will still eat it. It does have (no surprise) a strong odor, so cat's breath and any leftover food will stink. Kitty and I can deal with that. My only complaint is that, in the last couple of cases (this and another flavor), about half the cans have been dented. Couldn't have happened during shipment, because the case and the shipping box were well wrapped and padded. Hope the manufacturer isn't getting careless.

I really dislike slamming a particular food, but this was not good. I didn't like the smell, the consistency seemed a bit off, and my cat wouldn't touch it, even after having not eaten all day. I did take it to a rescue and let them know my cat didn't like it, just in case their cats didn't either.
