Is this tuna lower in mercury?? What type of tuna is this ??

Tuna, especially large fish like albacore tuna, can contain high levels of mercury. Excessive mercury intake can be harmful to cats, just as it can be for humans. To reduce this risk, Birdie & Louie uses smaller, younger tuna species called frigate tuna, and their tuna is tested for mercury levels before processing to be below the acceptable level for humans.

A semi win...

I am so happy I decided to try this for my Hazel. She is a semi feral kitty we rescued and she has horrific chronic diarrhea and hairball because she has long hair

I am so happy I decided to try this for my Hazel. She is a semi feral kitty we rescued and she has horrific chronic diarrhea and hairball because she has long hair and won't let us touch her to groom her. I read the pineapple and papaya of the Birdie food help both. She really loves it! And I believe its helping her some! The ONLY negative is the can is a pull tab BUT it always bends and breaks off so its impossible to open unless you use a can opener which is irritating but it is what it is, they really need to work on making the pull tab better because the can is very thick and hard to open unlike pull tab Fancy Feast, super easy! I thought the first 1 or 2 can tab breaking was a fluke but the whole case so far has been the same. My hazel does prefer the papaya over this one I must say.

Didn’t buy but was gifted it

A neighbor whose cat didn’t eat it gave me some. My oldest loves it. I had put three cans of different flavors down for the cats to have a treat. Not mixed but all available. My oldest went straight to the tuna pineapple. I haven’t tried any other flavor in this brand. But out of my clutter or cats it was gone when I went back to check. Meanwhile my dog got jealous and ended up licking the can clean before I could get it from him. Thankfully he does not have access to where my cats eat their food.

Well again, like the Birdie and Louie cat food with the olives. He likes this one a little better. I still have to add some water to it because once he licks up all the gravy, I have to add a little more water to it. This is because he doesn't eat it all in one sitting, but rather eats it a little bit at a time throughout the day.

Hairball help

Well I was exited to try this cat food ,I read alot of reviews and gave it a try ,neither of my Furbabies touched it,they smelled it and walked away.I did not like

Well I was exited to try this cat food ,I read alot of reviews and gave it a try ,neither of my Furbabies touched it,they smelled it and walked away.I did not like the Pineapple Tuna or the Papaya, I tried to mix it with there regular food ,they won't eat it.I tried to give it to some Ferall cats outside and unfortunately they would not touch it either.
