This is the third (and last!) harness we had to invest in. Nico is very unhappy with wearing a harness. We had one you had to pull over the head - and that was a complete showstopper. This harness has an extra clasp, and we can clip it on her neck just like a collar. I love how lightweight it is, and how great you can adjust the fit. While Nico still isn't thrilled wearing a harness, this one is more tolerable for her. I highly recommend it, it's a good investment. We bought it about 4 months ago, and it holds up great. Note: some people may find it difficult to figure out what end is up on this harness. But it's just a one-time orientation, finding the back strap (different color) - and that'll show you how the harness fits on. It's easy for us now (it was a bit daunting for the very first time).

Dog chewed through it within two minutes of wearing

I have an escape artist that is able to pull herself out of every harness I buy. I purchased this harness because of positive reviews, including pet parents saying it was escape proof. The material it’s made out of is so soft (a positive for non-chewers I’m sure) that my dog chewed her way out of it within minutes of having it on. I tightened it as much as possible so she shouldn’t be able to get her mouth to the straps, but it’s so flexible and soft, she managed to do it anyway. I don’t expect a collar to withstand excessive chewing, but the fact that she was able to chew through it THAT FAST was very frustrating.

Second time buying this harness. The first one was still going strong, very durable, color was just fading so it was looking a little sad after several years of use and hand-washing. This harness doesn't but prevent pulling with our dog, but it makes it much more manageable and works and fits much better than the other harness brands we tried. Our dogs neck size is too close to her head size for a collar to be secure enough. This is also the only harness we tried that did not cause chaffing in her armpits or rub off the fur on her neck.

Most adjustable harness I have ever purchased.

For her size, my dog has a deep chest and a small neck and most harnesses we have tried don't have the range of adjustability in a single size to fit her well.

Versatile harness

I purchased this as an alternative for our Australian Kelpie's head collar. The head collar is the #1 option we've found, but isn't ideal for long mountain hikes--when

I purchased this as an alternative for our Australian Kelpie's head collar. The head collar is the #1 option we've found, but isn't ideal for long mountain hikes--when our dog needs to be able to pant at full capacity, drink water frequently, and not have a leash connected to her snout if she looses her footing. She pulls much more on this harness, but it does provide more control than other harnesses. Since it's fairly minimalistic, she seems less bothered by it than other harnesses, as well. For fit reference, she's just under 40lbs and a very cinched-down size medium fits.
