So far so good!
My Siberian Husky is extremely picky with his kibble. He is about 7 lbs overweight and we have tried everything except changing his food, mostly because he is picky but also because he has a chicken allergy. Finding a diet food without chicken in it is next to impossible. I was psyched when I finally stumbled upon this. There was no stomach upset with the transition and he seems to like it so far. He has been on it for about 2 weeks. I am hopeful in a few more weeks his weight will show some improvement.
Stomach and probiotic
I really wanted something for sensitive stomach and probiotics and with out pumpkin. But my 4 legged family don't mind this formula
Great for unknown allergy
I've suspected my Cojack has a food allergy for a while. The vet said the expensive allergy teat isn't actually that relative so instead we've been experimenting with different kibble. It's been tough to try to find food that's NOT grain-free (studies have shown this diet is dangerous for dogs' hearts!!) But this one seems to be a winner. It's not as expensive as other options and she seems to like the taste.
Still itchy
Dogs are both itching more than ever after trying this dog food brand and after reading articles on the internet, I see this company has had some issues in the past. Very expensive mistake on my part for not reading PRIOR to spending almost 80.00 after tax on a bag of food I will have to donate to a dog shelter.
Excellent lower calorie food
Bought this as a diet food for my dog trying to lose a little weight. This is one of the few diet foods that doesn’t contain chicken. She loves the food and gobbles it up!
Not sure about this
I would recommend this for other dogs, but not mine. Tried getting a lower calorie food because shes old, doesn't walk as much and got a little chunky. She got diarrhea and threw this up, BUT I BELIEVE it is her and not this food (she had the same problem with another brand). I went back to taste of the wild Pacific Stream and every thing is back to normal.
So far so good
I have 2 super picky Shih Tzu's that my Vet says they will do better with a lower protein diet and this is the only one I've found that doesn't have chicken in it or require a prescription. They love the taste and I am hoping that the turkey meat shortage doesn't last too long so that the 24 lb bag will soon be available.
Never again!!
Made my pup sick. Diarrhea. I do not recommend. Absolutely no turkey anywhere. She ate it twice very reluctantly
Guess they like it
Had to switch our dog food. Turns out the pups are allergic to chicken. Hard to find a brand and flavor that doesn't contain chicken meal. This one is great. The boys love it and I can already see the redness from the allergy disappearing.
Trying Blue Buffalo for the 1st time
Was using Nutro but decided to try Blue Buffalo because it has more pumpkin in and pumpkin is supposed to help with "butt" issues. Too soon to tell. Since I am just starting the Blue Buffalo I needed to mix the 2 brands together for a little while
