from what country do they source ingredients? Is the food processed in the US?
Answer by ChewyMar 22, 2021
All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Many of their ingredients, such as most grains and meats, like chicken, beef and turkey come from the United States. Lamb and venison can be free range from the United States or New Zealand. Rabbit is sourced from Europe, and trout can come from the United States or Canada. Where possible Blue's suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the United States. Where the ingredients are not readily available in the Unites States, such as many vitamins and minerals, their suppliers will only work with reliable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of the ingredients are sourced from China.

Great kibble. Puppy enjoys this flavor. This brand overall is very good, we change it up with the chicken kibble also from the same brand

I love it!! highly recommend

Soon as I brought it in the house my dog tried to eat it. His coat and weight looks amazing now! I added a younger picture before I fed him the food and two days ago

Great product

Love the product! Worth the buy. Not happy that it is advertised as (will deliver in 1-3 business days) because it took over a week. I ordered so my pup would have food, not so I would have to buy food at a store because she ran out before it arrived at the door.

Perfect for my GSD Pup

My german shepherd puppy has severe stomach sensitivities and had diarrhea for the longest time. This issue persisted for a few months and was causing him to be underweight for his size. I had always had labs and never knew about dog stomach sensitivities with GSDs, but turns out that was the issue! The so called best, Purina Pro Plan, was causing the problems, and a sensitivity to chicken. We also had to bribe him to eat it, it seems he did not enjoy the taste. We put him on the Blue Lamb and Oatmeal, and his stool almost immediately solidified. He hasn’t had any issues since. He’s regained his weight and then some - he’s now 6.5 months and already 70 pounds (not good for me being 110!). Not to mention, he loves the flavor!

Puppy and I loves it

My large breed puppy absolutely loves it. She’s grown so much and really goes through food. At 4 months old she’s almost 40lbs, long legs and perfect body shape. Appears her fur looks shinier and muscles are defined. The food itself is small kibble and easy to digest.

Great Product/Cheap

My granddaughter needed special puppy food for her Furbabies and she was buying it at local pet store. I checked with Chewy and it was a lot cheaper! She Loves that it's delivered.

Buffalo fan

My pittie loves this food. I was giving her hills diet recommended by vet for allergies which did nothing. It's also a great product, but a fellow pittie owner told me to try Blue Buffalo which I did. I always purchased their cookies which she loves as well. Great product cheaper than Hills.

Puppy approved!

Just got a new, young pup. First bag of food I got her (not this) she ate but had soft poops and diarrhea. Switched to this food and no problems. She liked it and no more diarrhea. The only problem, my adult dogs like it too and the one is gaining a little weight.

so far so good

I started transitioning my 5 month old GSD to this food to try to alleviate itchy skin. We are still only feeding 50/50% with her old food, but she LOVES it. She is still itchy but a food transition won't show results until on it for a month or more, so we'll see. I actually think the itchy skin is mostly due to her natural transition to adult fur plus living in a dry climate.
