Disappointed

Usually in every bag there is a keep fresh packet to keep moist/fresh. I got these and there was no packet, so they were really dried out and made my little dogs

Usually in every bag there is a keep fresh packet to keep moist/fresh. I got these and there was no packet, so they were really dried out and made my little dogs choke being so dry. I also purchased the pork/sausage in one of my recent orders; I got the same dried out treats. I don't get it because I always get the duck jerky and they always have a keep fresh packet in and my fur kids never have a problem. I will never get these again or the pork/sausage.

My adopted Amy unfortunately had to have all her teeth removed, and these treats were the answer to a prayer. She's a small dog, and I can cut them in half and they still hold together, yet soft enough that she can munch them up with her gums with no trouble! There's another similar treat that we found, but Amy likes these best, and they smell the best, too - no "off" or unnatural scent, which reassures and pleases me as well!

I wonder did I just get a batch of these that had something wrong with them and did not notice until a day later? Should they have been refrigerated and I missed that information too? A day after opening them I noticed there were white fuzzy spots all over these snacks. I felt horrible that I had already fed Amico a number of them. Ugh And for the most part I love Blue Buffalo. What happened here? Anyone else in petland notice this with this particular item?
