These Blue Buffalo True Chews Beef Meatball Recipe treats have been a hit, mostly! First off, the packaging is fantastic. It's an easy tear-open package, which is super convenient, and it's also resealable, which is crucial for keeping these meaty treats fresh. No more struggling to open or worrying about stale treats! Now, onto the taste test with my two pups. Lady, my notorious picky eater (and the star of my review photos!), had an interesting first encounter. When I offered her a meatball, she wasn't quite sure about the texture and spit it out at first. However, after a bit more investigation and sniffing, she decided it was worth a try and eventually ate it. She did the exact same thing the second time it was offered as well, so it seems like she needs a moment to commit! My other little guy, Chappie, who's about 20 lbs and truly loves all things edible, had no such reservations. The whole meatball was a little big for his mouth, but once I broke it in half for him, he gobbled it up with pure enthusiasm. Overall, despite Lady's initial hesitation, these are a good treat. Chappie clearly approves, and Lady comes around in the end. The convenience of the packaging is definitely a bonus.

My dog really likes these treats, and they seem to be made of simple and pure ingredients. We have always had good luck with this brand. We've had to start slow in giving these to our dog, because she's not used to having beef in her diet. She's also pretty small (12 lbs) and so we break them into small bits for her. That said, they're not huge in size to begin with. But that is something to know for small dogs - you'll get more miles out of them because of this!

I was really happy to get these Blue Buffalo True Chews. I knew my dogs would love the beef meatball recipe. I like that they are soft and chewy. It means my chihuahua can enjoy them as much as my pug mix. These treats are made with real beef, have no corn, wheat or soy, and no artificial flavors or preservatives. These treats would also be great for dogs with a chicken allergy. From the moment I opened the bag, my dogs were all in. They each took a meatball and ate them up. They immediately came back for seconds. They continue to enjoy these treats.

My dog is 47 pounds. Some treats can be too tiny or too large (and too many calories). These meatballs have a perfect size for my dog. They are not oily or greasy. They have a natural feeling texture and even though they are a soft, moist treat, they seem to really hold together in the bag without breaking apart. They smell like bacon treats, sort of smoky. The treat is fun because it is modeled after a human food item. That makes it pretty cute without being silly or over the top.

I love these treats! They are soft and chewy and chicken free, my dog with allergies can have them and all 5 of my dogs love them. I have all sizes and breeds and some are very picky but absolutely love these! I can put my dogs pill in them also since they are soft and he eats them right up! They all love the flavor. Also a plus is the resealable bag. Definitely recommend and will get again.

I have 6 dogs from very large to very small. Every single one of them now knows what the “meatball” is! They absolutely love them. I highly recommend. I have all my dogs on grain free to avoid stomach gas and these treats do not effect that. No gas and very happy dogs and mommy. Two Long Coat huge German Shepherds, One Black Lab, one Apple head Chihuahua, one Deer Head Chihuahua , One Chiweenie love this product.

Barney absolutely loves these, so much so that I couldn’t get a picture of him beside the bag as he wanted it opened and would not sit still! Pleased that they are made in the USA. Glad beef is the first ingredient. These treats have not caused any stomach upset. I think they must be delicious and will keep these meatballs on rotation in our house.
