On an as fed basis, this formula has approximately 0.63% calcium and 0.03% magnesium. On a dry matter basis, this formula has approximately 2.86% calcium and 0.13% magnesium.
My cats are already on Blue Buffalo kitten food. Will I still need to slowly transition them on adult food?

All BLUE formulas are designed to allow for an easy transition; however, for an optimal experience, we recommend a 50/50 transition for 2-3 weeks to help your pet's digestive system adjust to the new formula.

great wet cat food

I have 2 very picky cats. They eat the Fancy Feast Savory Center wet food but sometimes get tired of it and want something different. I found this Blue Perfect Coat food online and the ingredients are good. My one cat does not like or do well with a lot of chicken products and this is fish. Although he has an allergy to salmon this food he loves and does not lose his hair over it like he does with salmon. they love it and clean their plates.

Inconsistent but helps with weight management

I had to switch one cat to a low-calorie wet food diet, and as a result, both cats need to eat the same thing. The cat on the diet has enjoyed this food fine, but sometimes the other one will sniff random cans and not eat them, so I can assume something is odd about the formula in that particular can, since she's not averse to the food otherwise. Also, a lot of times the cans arrive dented or with the tab removed, so you need a can opener to open them, or the food looks visibly expired.

Cats seem to like it

I like the ingredients in this food, and 2 of the 3 cats seem to like it, but it has a weird texture, not quite the pate texture they like best. Still, it's a good food with limited protein source so I would recommend giving it a try.

My cats love it. I feed them this and the Blue Buffalo delights flaked wet food. I rotate them. They love the Blue Buffalo brand and don't tire of it. Their coats look healthy and clean, no more Dandruff. Very pleased.

My cats love the Perfect Coat dry food but they DO NOT LIKE this wet food. They were driving me crazy for breakfast this morning and as soon as I put this food down this sniffed and left. It’s still sitting there…..

My cat loves this with a little water, making it Xtra healthy!

I tried this for it's healthy ingredients. My kitty loves the taste!!! I like canned foods that I can add small amounts of water into so my kitty gets more pure water, not fake "gravy" with salty ingredients. I trade this off with "American Journey Pate, Salmon" and add water to it!!! Plus, sometimes Fancy Feast salmon and Fancy Feast white fish combo, add tons of water for kitty's breakfasts!!! My cat eats all of this food and the American Journey. And mostly just licks the water soup I make from the Fancy Feast. Point being is it is good to give a cat variety foods and ways to take in liquids!!! Plus, my cat always has healthy crunchy food plus treats available!!! I hope to keep him jumping, playing and healthy until age 20-plus!!!

It’s ok. Has small bony-like fragments

This is a flavor my cats love. It is a thin consistency and contains what looks small pieces of ground bones in it. The cats eat it all and seem fine so must not be too bad for them but I don’t think I will buy this again.

My cat won’t eat this, but the other day it did and it threw up everywhere. The food looks grey and too mushy. I will throw most of it away.

Chicken or Pumpkin Added

I have a cat that is allergic to Chicken and Pumpkin. This food has one, or both of these ingredients, in this food, but it is not listed as such. My other cat loves the food, but I can't feed it.
