Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

The Blue Wilderness Duck cat food is my cats' favorite. I haven't tried other flavors but of all the different brands, this one is totally cleaned from their bowls. No bad after eating incidents either.
My cats LOVE this canned food. they literally go to the cabinet they know it's stashed in and paw at it. I use to buy the salmon canned food, which they liked. This, (for them), is their favorite.
Our cats have loved this for years. Our most senior guy looks forward to a plate of duck to supplement his salmon crunchies. The whiskers line up in the morning, and one can splits between three senior cats as a taste treat and seems to be just enough to go with their breakfast.
We got a free cat we found behind a dumpster but free doesn’t mean free and he has digestive issues and we have to feed him Novel proteins and finding a food he likes has been a struggle. He loves this stuff. It’s also good on his digestive system. So it’s a win win.
My cats snubbed it so i give it to the ferals who are not complainers. Healthy ingredients so i wish they liked it, but Ill wait a few months and try it on my cats again.
4 out of 5 of our kitties like this formula. That’s impressive because they are difficult to please. It is moist, tender with healthy, grain free ingredients. I’m very pleased with this product.
My super fussy cats like it. One of only a few brands with duck pate.
The Beauty Bear is a very picky eater and will hold out on hunger strike till he gets his favorite Duck Pate' made by Blue Buffalo Wilderness. BeBear is such a well behaved guy and so loving. I want him to be happy and health so I always find a way to make sure he gets some as often as I can.
This is not Chewys fault. In fact Chewy is awesome but this duck bbw wet food has so many bones in it that it's ridiculous. I chose Blue Buffalo Wilderness (not regular blue buffalo) because I liked the ingredients and the fact that it was a good, balanced, and healthy food for my cat. I first started seeing bits of bone in the salmon so I switched to the duck formula and my Daisy Mae liked it even more. As the months have gone by, I've noticed more and more (and bigger) pieces of bone in the food. When im mashing it up with a fork, I can even feel the bones. I called them and praised them for making a good quality food but that the bones were not safe. They said they would be sending me an email so I could add a photo but they never did. BBW sent me a free case but it didn't change the problem. Sure enough, my cat ended up with a minor gum injury from most likely biting down on a bone. That is what my vetenarian said. It's a shame BBW refuses to address and fix this issue. I am now in the process of trying to find a different brand of food for my cat. Attached are pics of all the bones that came out of a 3 oz can.
The kitties love it! Wish it came in a larger can!
