This is a friggin treat - goodness - it smells so delicious too. I have been tempted to eat them my self. They have a hard ish outside and a chewy inside. Dogs mouths water for these treats! High value treat! The one down side, not good for hiking etc they seem to make the dogs super thirsty.
I was under the impression that this dog treats would be soft and easy for chewing. I am so disappointed that your product is not described accurately. The pieces in the bag were difficult for me to break in half to help my senior lab better chew.
My girls love these so much that just hearing me open the bag they come running, sit, with their tails going crazy give me the hurry up mom look! They smell so much like human food pb cookies, makes me wanna try one!
Both my dogs loved these treats. One had oral cancer and was only able to eat soft foods. These were soft enough where it didn't irritate his tumor.
I don't know if I got a bad bag or not but I received them today and tried giving my dog one. They were so hard he had difficulty eating it. My husband had to use a knife and put a lot of pressure into cutting it. My dog has lost a bunch of teeth so soft is needed. Waste of money.
My dogs had dental surgery and needed soft treats. These really are fairly soft. They can be broken into smaller pieces for small dogs and they liked them a lot.
I have two 7 mo old AussieDoodles. Easy to train, but very stubborn. To learn something new, they require very high value treats. This is one that they love. I can break them into smaller pieces to use.
So Sorry. My two girls say no to these. They love the chicken milkbone soft chews, so thought we would try something new. Mistake! They will not even try them. Just sniff and say NO!
They are of a nice texture. Nick just doesn't care for them. He won't eat them. He's just too fussy.. he likes milk bone biscuits the best.
One of my dogs has food allergies, most likely chicken, so had to find alternative treats for her. She loves the peanut butter flavor of this treat and so far, no allergic reactions after a week. Hard to find treats without any chicken in them and this is now a favorite in this dog family.
