I have a rescued 20yr old horse that was suffering from what I've now learned is leaky gut with symptoms very relatable to fecal water syndrome which was racking up the bills and reducing his body appearance. After starting him on this addition to his feed, his symptoms have cleared, he has gained weight and hasn't required any other vet support for his health. He has sustained through the winter and remains on the maintenance dose. Well worth the money! HIGHLY Recommend BlueBonnet Feed's Gut Reset!!

The name has changed from ADR to Gut Reset, but it’s still a great product from a company that really goes the extra mile. I use this powder to protect my horse’s gut health under condition of extra stress (excessively hot weather, changes in hay or feed, long distance travel, heavy training). I feel like it really helps keep my horse’s hindgut in balance and healthy. It does have a tangy odor (like vinegar) but I haven’t had any problems getting my horses to eat it; I add it to their supplement ration and well soaked Timothy/Alfalfa pellets. I highly recommend this and all of the Bluebonnet products!

I was afraid my picky eater wouldn’t eat this but he does and looks like a million bucks! His weight and cost improved within a week and a half.

An equine nutritionist recommended ADR for my RMH mare who had very loose (diarrhea) stools. I attributed the loose stools to lengthy antibiotic use (about 2.5 months) which probably wreaked havoc with her gut biome. The vet recommended a particular supplement which my horse wouldn't eat. Vet then referred me to an equine nutritionist. The nutritionist recommended Stride/Bluebonnet Feeds Intensify Ex-Factor Feed as well as the ADR Paste. I used the paste for a couple months but it's quite expensive. I decided to order five sample packs of the powder. My horse would eat that when it was put on the Intensify Ex (which she loves) but quite a bit of the powder would end up falling to the bottom of the feed dish. However, sprinkling some water on top of the powder solves the problem because the powder then sticks to the feed. So I ordered a 5 lb. bucket of the powder (much more economical than the paste). Luckily, I have a digital kitchen scale (can choose ounces or grams) so I could measure out 13 grams (which the directions say to give daily) of the powder. A scoop comes with the powder but 13 grams is nowhere near a full scoop (not sure why the company doesn't include a scoop that's closer to a 13 gram serving). I then used a black sharpie to draw a line on the scoop to show what is 13 grams. Anyway, between the feed and the powder, she no longer has watery stools. It wasn't overnight--took about three months--but she's now back to normal.

Fantastic!

Worked wonders for my 24 year old trail gelding’s digestion. No more loose manure and I noticed a difference in the appearance of his belly as well. No more hay

Firstly, if you’re going to offer this to your horse FOLLOW THE 10 DAY TRIAL INSTRUCTIONS. Sorry to yell, some of you will only read that first sentence. Anyway, we LOVE ADR powder at my barn. If there is even the remote possibility that your horse has some kind of gastric discomfort, it’s worth the try. Signs your horse is uncomfortable include things like irritable behavior when touched near the stomach, girthyness, anxiety or over-excitement near feeding time, grumpy or sassy when asked to trot/canter, and the list goes on. When such cases are presented to me as a trainer, we start with a 10-day ADR trial. On nearly every horse we have trialed, behavior improvements were noted by day 5-8! From there, I recommend my clients seek a nutrition consultation with the company, Stride Animal Health (it’s free!) and so many behavior related training problems seem to *magically* go away once the proper Stride product is provided! Seriously, so many of my training horse successes attributed to me truly come from this and the other Stride products. I try to offer them credit but I won’t lie, these products end up making my training look good! If you’re considering Stride supplements. This is where to start! I’ll recommend them till the day I die!
