Great little boots! Yes, the soles aren't as thick as the Frisco boots, but they are more flexible and the boots fit and stay on much better. They run very small

Great little boots! Yes, the soles aren't as thick as the Frisco boots, but they are more flexible and the boots fit and stay on much better. They run very small though- my dog is 37 lbs and I first ordered the medium. They are too small for her front feet and just barely accommodate her back feet. I ordered another set in large, and these fit nicely. As a comparison, my dog wears small (front) and XS(back) in the Frisco boots. I would never consider her feet "large". It's more an issue of length than width. if your dog has very round paws and very short nails, they may fit better. They also took just a few days longer to receive than the other items in my order, both times. 4 stars because of small fit and...the velcro is pretty weak. If there was a 4.5 stars i would have chosen that. These are more fitted than most of the other dog boots, and look like cool little surfer shoes. I would wear these if they made 'em for people!

She was hesitant at first but enjoyed the relief from the hot pavement on her feet. Also that we were less limited by extreme heat temperatures and enabled to go for a walk in the evening as well as regular morning stroll. However, she is older so there is some settling in the placement area of her front pads. Therefore the front feet, especially lead foot, slipped down and had to be readjusted repeatedly. Perhaps one increase in size for front legs would be more comfortable and stable.

My dog doesn’t argue with putting them on.

Nice shoes

BUT not for my dogs foot (probably would fit a cat better.. smaller and more round). The small says 1.75 in length.. that is the length of the rubber NOT what fits

BUT not for my dogs foot (probably would fit a cat better.. smaller and more round). The small says 1.75 in length.. that is the length of the rubber NOT what fits inside the shoe. I took a flexible ruler and put it inside the shoe... that mark comes quite past the rubberized foot (my pup does measure 1.75). I'm pretty upset about it because these are very NICE shoes and really flexible. I like they would fasten on a dogs foot and seems it would be very comfortable. Oh well I guess I have to keep looking.
