Great product that actually works

I bought this because I didn’t want to traumatize my cats by brushing their feathers every other day. The vet last year said that in 2 years they would need a cleaning

I bought this because I didn’t want to traumatize my cats by brushing their feathers every other day. The vet last year said that in 2 years they would need a cleaning and their gums were a little inflamed. My solution: after carefully reading review and tying a few other items I bought this. I mix a small pump a drop with their fish oil and a little water every other day. Fast forward to this years vet visit! Their gums are perfect, no tarter and without brushing! I would strongly recommend this! It has given me a little peace knowing I don’t have to brush their teeth anymore and they will be ok! I was stressing about potentially needed to pay thousands for teeth cleaning and leaving them overnight at the vet! This is a must have! You’ll see the difference in your cats teeth!

Started out good. He didn’t seem to notice any difference in his water and continued to drink as much as he usually does. Definitely improved his breath. Then I started noticing softer stools and skin irritation on his face so I discontinued use and symptoms have resolved with a little TLC for the skin issues. Stool issues resolved as soon as product was discontinued.

My cats drink from both a fountain with a filter and a gravity water bowl, and I tried this in both of them. In both, I found that the water became dirty and had a dark floating substance in it/coating parts of the fountains and filter within just a few days. After stopping the additive, the water in the fountain and gravity bowl was normal again for weekly cleanings. While this product might be more suited to smaller water bowls that are changed daily, the only measurement given on the bottle is to prepare 4 cups of water - good for bigger dogs, but not so much for my cats who don't drink so much in a day. I'd have to waste a lot of product to continually clean and refill their fountain and gravity water bowl with it. On the positive side, I will note that the product seemed to improve their breath some while I was using it, and even my pickiest cats didn't notice the additive in the water and still drank as normal.

Favorite water additive

I’ve tried quite a few water additives, and this one is my favorite. It’s easy to measure out, it doesn’t bubble up like some will (I’m talking about you TropiClean)
