Too tough to chew

I bought these for my Frenchies but they are way too tough for them to chew up. One of them almost choked on it and I had to take it away and throw it in the trash

I bought these for my Frenchies but they are way too tough for them to chew up. One of them almost choked on it and I had to take it away and throw it in the trash. One of my dogs kept chewing on it and it wouldn't break up into smaller pieces and it smells really disgusting. I tried to hold it for the dog to chew up but they couldn't even break off smaller pieces. This treat is gross.

Heaven knows she fiercely started to devour it the moment I gave it to her. [Her is my 9.4lb. Mini Wirehair Dachshund, Bitsie Boo] Realized she was chewing, eating it to fast I took it away from her, 1/3 eaten. Next day, stomach and gastrointestinal upsetment. Couple days of white rice & boiled white chicken, and at 12yrs. she's all good. Think too rich for a small dog...at least mine.
