The reviews continue to report that the quality has gone down and they are not the same product they once were. Is anybody getting the feedback? I would love to start buying these again, but until the quality comes back, I can’t do that. So I continue to look for the latest reviews.

What is the difference between this steer stick and the bully stick?

Bully sticks are made from beef pizzle and steer sticks are made from steer pizzle.

How do these last in comparison to bully sticks? Do they tend to last as long or be chewed through quicker? Thanks!!

The longevity of this chew is determined by the consumption style of your pet. The main difference between the two is that Steer Sticks are from neutered bulls, unlike Bully Sticks.

Are these from American cattle. American sourced. Be honest. Not just “baked in the USA”.

Decreased Size

My large dog lives these however the diameter of the stick has decreased in size by about half. My dog is 80 lbs and now she’s just chomping these down within 30

My large dog lives these however the diameter of the stick has decreased in size by about half. My dog is 80 lbs and now she’s just chomping these down within 30 minutes instead of a hour or so. Now she’s wants two treats and at almost six bucks a piece they need to increase the size or decrease the price

Not worth the price

I have ordered these for MANY years. And the past 8 months the bones have been greatly disappointing. So much money for little product. Would be better to pay by

Skinny and skinnier

They are getting so skinny!! Product has plummeted. I understand that they vary in size but I have not had a decent pack in the last few orders.

First time i bought it was worth the price, the second time it was NOT

I got the sticks for my dog a few months back, they were the size advertised, and lasted my dog around 6 hours each (she is a heavy chewer). This time I purchased

I got the sticks for my dog a few months back, they were the size advertised, and lasted my dog around 6 hours each (she is a heavy chewer). This time I purchased however the sticks were super super tiny, thin, and brittle. My dog was able to eat half the stick in 10 mins. I won’t be buying again because this is false advertising. Seems like they have a lot of inconsistency in sizing, but the last two i purchased were nearly the same size so i am a bit confused as to how BOTH sticks i received this time were less than half the thickness. In the time i took to type this my dog has almost finished eating the stick - that’s barely 20 mins vs 6 hours on the last bunch i got. Not worth it.

They are getting too small

I have been a subscriber to these Steer Stick for a year and their quality control for constancy in size is very poor. Two shipments ago I received a pack of 35

I have been a subscriber to these Steer Stick for a year and their quality control for constancy in size is very poor. Two shipments ago I received a pack of 35 and at least 80% of them were nice size. Sure you will always get a small one or two in the group. The last two packages that I received were all on the very small size. My dog will go through them in minutes. For their price, they should at least entertain the dog for a half an hour. I complained to Chewy about 6 months ago and they stated that it was a natural product and will vary in size. That is fine but I do not expect a package of 36 to be all so small that none of the sticks in the package will last over 2 minutes with my dog. It is sad that my dog likes these so much and the quality is so inconsistant.

These keep getting higher in price and smaller in size (thin). My fur boy loves these but with the cost and the size continuing to shrink, I’m not sure how long

Half as thick!

The price has gone up that’s obvious and I was willing to pay that price because my big dogs love these bones. But now not only have the prices gone up significantly,

The price has gone up that’s obvious and I was willing to pay that price because my big dogs love these bones. But now not only have the prices gone up significantly, the thickness of the sticks themselves have gone down by probably half the size! No longer are they a good treat for my medium to large size dogs they can go through them in minutes. I will buy different bully sticks now and that makes me sad. I have probably bought these 35 packs 6-8 times. Really really disappointed in the last order I received I can only assume that the quality will continue.

Great alternative to bully sticks!

These have been a huge success with my standard poodle. She was getting kinda tired of bully sticks, and was leaving them partially chewed more often than not. These

These have been a huge success with my standard poodle. She was getting kinda tired of bully sticks, and was leaving them partially chewed more often than not. These are more brittle and I think they have a more satisfying pay-off. There are weird little bits to gnaw on, and overall I think they just have a more interesting texture. We cut them in half, and each half occupies her for 30 minutes to an hour. And she never leaves any behind.
