I have had such a hard time training my dog because she’s a border collie husky mix and she’s VERY stubborn. She won’t listen unless there’s treats and even then if she doesn’t feel like listening to you. she’ll just straight up ignore you. I also had to untrain her from a lot of old habits when I first adopted her, she was allowed to do whatever she wanted. So this collar has helped immensely with training and I’m starting to make little bits of progress! This is the only thing she’ll listen to

I This collar was used to get my collie puppy to stop biting me. I did not use it for barking but found it so helpful to get her to understand that her toys are for chewig and not me! Lol. It redirected her attention to let go of me and for me to switch a toy in her mouth and associate what is okay to chew. The sound startles her and is usually enough, but the vibration mode annoys her and definitely gets the idea across to her that biting is a negative experience and she has stopped completely! I personally have not used the shock mode and do not feel right doing that. Collies are sensitive and smart and she just wants to please me, so this worked when I was frustrated trying to tell her "no!" and it just riled her up more to use it as play to bite me and get a reaction. All puppies chew and need to bite, but the trick is to teach them what is appropriate to chew on, and this collar did the trick! Recommend. Just be sure to use the remote to activate the collar at the same time the bad behavior is happening so your dog relates it to what they are doing. It really helped me with training my dog. No more torn clothes and bruises and wounds from her little teeth!

It has helped us get our puppies attention when she is picking on a kitty or chasing a random butterfly. We have rarely had to use the shock feature. Vibrate has done well. She is a little more sensitive than our other dog. She ignores it.
