I ordered these for my guinea pig but the "shoots" that come out of the top grab like hooks. Can these not get stuck in their mouth or insides? One got stuck in my finger and reminded me of a fishing hook... Has anyone had any issues with them? I would like to give them to him but am afraid.

Brown's have never had any reported issues with Guinea Pigs eating this treat. In the wild, Guinea Pigs eat a variety of roughage and can easily handle the wheat. It’s a natural treat that guinea pigs love.

Texture

Not the best for my hamster. Found the texture sharp and sticky. He didn't touch it at all. It makes for nice decor when bundled together.

My pigs enjoyed these

For the first couple feeds of these treats my two female guinea pigs were little skeptical of this new thing, but by the third feed they were familiar with the treats

For the first couple feeds of these treats my two female guinea pigs were little skeptical of this new thing, but by the third feed they were familiar with the treats and started really showing a high level of enjoying them and begging for them. I plan to try the other sprays offered by this brand to see which ones they might like best. And also this is a unique enrichment item. You don't often see sprays for sale so I am really happy about this "something new" to offer my pets.

Smelled Old

My Guinea pig preferred to eat his regular hay and ignored the wheat sprays. Even my dog who loves to nibble on grass wouldn’t touch these. I like the concept but

My Guinea pig preferred to eat his regular hay and ignored the wheat sprays. Even my dog who loves to nibble on grass wouldn’t touch these. I like the concept but I’m not sure how fresh they are because they have an off putting smell and when I opened the hulls, there are no seeds inside. I’ll just continue to pick grass sprays in the backyard when they start developing again.
