We have an incredibly nervous cat that urinates outside the litter box when stressed. For example, seeing ground squirrels outside on the patio, sends him into a complete panic which has wrecked havoc on our sunroom and carpets. We hesitantly brought a puppy into the house anticipating the cat’s stress level would be off the charts. In the past, we tried the Feliway collars without much success. For whatever reason, these seem to work well for our cat. He’s become so mellow and not pacing all throughout the house. What works for some doesn’t work for others, but for us, these collars have been a game changer. It’s like we have a different cat so I wish we’d have tried them sooner. I bought two of these collars. One to help one cat relax and stop spraying, the other to help another cat soothe aggression. Neither has worked. In addition, both cats have been itching nonstop since the collars were put on.
