carrot crunchers

I tried something new..these. I didn't like them. They are hard to hold since they are shaped like thin dimes. I dropped many many of these trying to feed them to the horses. The treats slip through my fingers. THEY liked them. I didn't. If they changed the dime slice appearance then they would be much easier for me to keep them in my hands. Even the horses had a hard time trying to get them into their mouths. Way too thin and small. They can't pick up something so flat and thin. Just make them a grape size shape and I would buy more. This is nothing like a horse would normally eat. There is nothing in the wild or pasture shaped like these. It is not easy for them to pick up or I tried something new..these. I didn't like them. excellent low sugar treats

I have a gelding that is an extremely easy keeper, and I'm always mindful of how much sugar he ingests through feed and hay, etc. The Buckeye treats allow me to give him treats without risking a huge blood sugar spike. Both he and all my other horses loves all the flavors, so I can never go wrong with whichever one I choose.
