This brush is suitable for dogs of all ages and sizes. Brush in the direction of fur growth (from skin out), starting at the front of your pet and working your way to the back.
Would you recommend this for a dog with long fur?

perfect bristles for my short haired pup

The bristles are the best I've tried for my dog's short thin-ish coat. Unlike wire or plastic bristles, I don't feel like this scratches her skin. Her coat is nice and shiny afterwards and she really loves being brushed with this. The size of the brush does fit very nicely in the palm and is aesthetically pleasing as well.

Love this brush!

Wasn't certain if this would work on all my dogs, but it definitely does and they all love it! I have 5 dogs with a mix of short single-coat and double-coat and it gets out debris and makes their coats more shiny for them all. My double-coat bulldog mix likes it and it does de-shed him some what, but I still use the furminator to get his undercoat. I also have arthritis in my right hand and this fits perfect in my hand and doesn't cause any cramping like with traditional handles. Five stars folks!!!

Great for short haired dogs

This brush is great for my short-haired dauchsand beagle mix. It fits perfectly in my hand and the bristles are great for shedding season.

Good brush, great for shedding

Using this brush on my German Shepard mutt really works wonders because he doesn’t stop shedding, until I went to brush him today and she started whining. Now this may be because of something else but the bristles are sharp and painful with enough pressure, so I won’t continue to use it unless fully necessary.

Great brush for my short haired guy!

Great brush for my short haired pup! It does the trick to smooth out his coat while getting out the few loose hairs he does have.

Quality Brush

This is a well made, quality brush. My 2 1/2 year old dog has never enjoyed being brushed until now. Apparently it feels wonderful! If you have a dog with a thick undercoat you will still need something like a furminator to get that, but this keeps the everyday shedding down, makes her coat shine, and provides her with a wonderful ‘spa’ experience.

Nice quality brush gets the job done

Our dog has medium, straight hair that doesn't require detangling, just getting detritus out and smoothing her coat. This does the job wonderfully. I love the sustainable bamboo handle, though the strap is too big to really be useful--I just hold onto the whole thing with my palm. Apparently the bristles feel good because she loves being brushed. Now to figure out how to clean fur off the bristles!

Dog Approved

I have 2 large breed dogs and made the mistake of buying just one. As soon as I opened the box and brushed them I immediately ordered another one. They love it and would literally push each other out of the way to get brushed. Now I have to brush them together.... great product at a great price.

Great Brush

I like the fact that it has a strap for you to slide your hand under. The bristles are a nice quality and not too stiff. My dog looks forward to getting her daily brushing!
