I still don’t quite understand how this toy works. Does the dog have to chew on it to get the treats out? Or does the dog have to figure out how to twist it to get the treats out?

This toy is made of two pieces that twist together to hold your dog's favorite food or treats. You can twist the opening to make the opening smaller or larger, as wanted. As your pet plays with the toy, kibble or treats are randomly dispensed.

what's the best fitting treats to buy foot this toy? i want something that falls out, didn't get stuck, but doesn't just pour out.

This toy is made of natural rubber and is more like a rolling ball.

How much does a large hold kibble wise

This toy is 6 inches wide x 4 inches tall with a hallow inside. There is no actual measurement of how much kibble can fit inside since all kibble comes in different sizes and shapes, so the result will most likely vary depending on the brand of the formula.

Looks like a flying saucer

Easy open screw top. Holds a lot of kibble which helps slow my chow hound’s eating frenzy. I wish it had a way to change (make smaller) the opening for treat dispensing

Poorly made

My miniature dachshund was able to chew off pieces within the first time playing with it. It did not matter how tightly I screwed it, he was able to undo it and

Not for my girl

My 'Darling' was never one to play with a ball or retrieve. So she didn't care for this at all. She knows she will get treats without having to roll this around

Perfect for holding yogurt

I fill both sides with yogurt and close it almost all the way. It can keep my dog occupied for a long time as she tries to lick the yogurt out. It's easier to clean

My dogs loved these. It is a great way to serve a meal. You can begin with a larger opening and dispense easily then tighten it down for more of a challenge. l

Our dog is only interested in toys that involve treats. She loves her PetSafe toys and will sit and chew on them for hours and carry them around with her until she gets the treat out. This toy, compared to her other ones from PetSafe, was a disappointment because she chewed through the material within a few days. If your dog is a super chewer, try one of the other PetSafe toys (like the “jack” or the “corn cob”). If your dog is a lighter chewer, I think this toy would be great.
