Not rope! Dangerous yarn hurt my senior bird

My cockatiel loves rope, so I ordered this. No rope involved, just long pieces of yarn that have been pulled through a metal ring. It looks like the plastic cap

My cockatiel loves rope, so I ordered this. No rope involved, just long pieces of yarn that have been pulled through a metal ring. It looks like the plastic cap is supposed to lock down the pieces of draped yarn but it does not secure them at all. He tried to hold the yarn with his foot to chew it, but the yarn released too easily from the ring and the yarn easily frays. His foot got caught in the yarn and caused him to fall over 2 feet to the bottom of the cage. Now I have an injured senior bird that cannot fly and is having trouble standing. This is the worst product and I should have never bought it for him. I feel horrible for giving it to him!

unfortunately came apart in less than an hour

As soon as my bird started playing with this all of the yarns came out and landed at the bottom of the cage

Great fun
