My picky cockatoo rescue would eat nothing good for her! We have tried so many brands and ended up feeding the special diet food to the chickens because she wouldn’t finish it or even touch it and she loves this stuff and she has been thriving on it putting on weight. Her feathers are in great shape. It’s just a fantastic food.

They have been exposed to lots of options but Browns is all they want. It is not their main food just their favorite snack.

I usually buy the 8 lb. Bag of bird food, but the last 2 times I have been getting the 4 lb. Bag with my order. I do not know if there is something that changes

I usually buy the 8 lb. Bag of bird food, but the last 2 times I have been getting the 4 lb. Bag with my order. I do not know if there is something that changes my order automatically to the smaller bag. I prefer to get 8 lb. For a couple dollars more than the 4 lb. Bag. I thought I just forget and forgot to click the larger bag the last time. When I ordered on Sunday, August 11 I specifically made sure I clicked on the correct size. When I just checked my order it did say 4 lb. I suppose I have to check my confirmation carefully. Compared to the 8lb. Bag that 4 lb. Costs too much. I shop Chewy for convenience and pricing.

The content of food was lacking for the price, but it will work in a pinch when waiting for other options to be delivered or purchased. I travel with my parrot between two homes for work and I gave a 1-star because the food contained grain moths which caused an infestation of my two homes and my vehicle. It has been a nightmare trying to get rid of the insects. If you happen to purchase any of this food or other similar product, make sure to keep it in an air-tight container to prevent the moths from getting out.
