We were excited to try the Canidae dog food. We have a 6-month-old lab puppy, a 2-year-old mix, and a senior terrier. With this wide range, it is difficult finding something that all the dogs enjoy! The “All-Stages” dry dog food is made with great quality chicken and grains. The ingredients were impressive, and there is plenty of protein. The kibble smells good and is small enough to be used as treats. Our puppy loved it as a reward/treat, as we are trying to teach her various behavioral tricks. Our senior dog, who is picky, devoured it. There were no problems with chewing or digestion. This is a great food option at a reasonable price. I would recommend!

I was pretty excited to have Boone try the Canidae All Life Stages dog food. I love the ingredients; good amount of protein with chicken and the grains. The food itself seems to be good quality and I liked that the kibble was smaller pieces rather than large chunks. No real thick, unpleasant smell that you get with some dog food options either. Unfortunately, Boonie is just too picky I suppose. He seemed to like it at first but grew more and more reluctant to even approach his food bowl as the servings came. I’m pretty sad! I do think this is a good option for any dog that doesn’t turn their nose up at food like mine apparently does. Lol.

I tried the CANIDEA all life stages dry food. The size of the kibble is on the smaller side. It has a pleasant smell. All the dogs dove right in, so it is clearly tastey. I have larger breed dogs. 2 pitties & 2 dobermans. I was unsure how the smaller kibble was going to do for them. No worries though! It was a big hit! They all loved it. I like the all life stages aspect as I currently have a 14, 8, 7, & 5 yr old in the house. So this is good for all 4! Yhe older lady has gotten a little picky in her older yrs, but the was no hesitation with the new food at all! I would recommend trying this for a multi-generational home!

I used this for my puppy. Since he is still a pup, I didn't want to change his food. The ingredients, and ratios (protein/ fat/ carbohydrates) look above average. The kibble smells good and I like the small size. I used the kibble as treats for training. He really likes it. Even after his normal meal he would be exited to work, and looking forward to the rewards. I would rate this as a good food option at a reasonable price point.

Our dog is older and is required to eat a dry prescription dog food but it’s mixed with regular chicken based dry food. Our dog is not a picky eater but we try to keep her on a healthy diet. The Canidae All Life Staged dry dog food was very high quality, the ingredients were very impressive. Another positive for us was the small size of the kibble. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with an older dog like ours, she had no problem with chewing or digestion.

This food is particularly helpful when you have a puppy and an older dog. My experience is that it is very difficult to feed two different foods and keep the dogs from eating each others. I’m a label reader, so I especially liked the protein content and the DHA for cognitive development for puppies. I recently learned that DHA is good for older dogs, too. It doesn’t really matter what I think the most important thing is that my dog loved it!

They both have good results with this good. No allergies or loose stools from it at all. I highly recommended it if you have dogs ranging from 3 to 10 years old. Good quality food.
