DaisySue has several food allergies and sensitivities, finding a good safe food that she loves, being she is also very picky, has been very hard to find. Gave this a shot. Took her a few days to "get used to it" now she can't wait for her meals and gobbles it up happily. Plus it is helped her overall health, her skin is clearing and boy does she have energy to burn again. She can only eat the Turkey, but she loves it. Thankfully!!! Raw is best. Although it can be very pricey if feeding a large dog in my case she is a little Chi-Chi so it works.

Finally Something My Picky Eater Loves!

I was so excited to try Instinct Fresh Raw Meals with my two dogs, Millie (a Pittbull Terrier mix) and Stella (a Dachshund/Aussie mix). Millie is the pickiest eater ever, if she doesn’t like the smell, she won’t touch it. Stella, on the other hand, will usually eat anything. I mixed this with their dry food, and to my surprise, Millie couldn’t eat it fast enough! Stella, however, wasn’t interested, which worked out perfectly since Millie happily enjoyed two servings. The meals are super convenient and easy to break apart with a fork, generous portion sizes, and each package opens easily with two servings inside (for Millie, anyway!). Shipping with dry ice was a breeze, and I love that I can just keep the packs in the freezer and move one to the fridge 24 hours before feeding. Highly recommend for anyone with a picky eater, this one’s a winner! 🐾

I was initially impressed with how well the food was shipped. Itarrived cold and secure. Unfortunately, the packaging was very disappointing. Several of the packs were cracked open, which immediately raised concerns about freshness and safety. On top of that, the food took much longer than expected to thaw, which made coordinating with my dog’s mealtimes frustrating and inconvenient. The biggest issue, however, was that my dog simply wouldn’t eat it. He turned his nose up when it was served raw, and even after I tried cooking it, he only took a few reluctant bites. Sadly, this was not a good fit for us.

Basically People Food for Dogs

This is human quality food for dogs. It's raw ingredients which my Aussie is nor used to so I warmed it up in a pan with a bit of olive oil to keep it from sticking

This is human quality food for dogs. It's raw ingredients which my Aussie is nor used to so I warmed it up in a pan with a bit of olive oil to keep it from sticking. She thought I had cooked it for me and when it cooled I stirred in into her bowel and she loved it. I was initially concerned it would be too rich for her system and she might have loose stool but everything was fine. She is a good reinker but seemed to drink more after eating the food.

I’ve been feeding my dog the Instinct FreshRaw Meals Grain-Free Cage-Free Turkey Recipe, and I’m really impressed with the quality. The first thing I noticed is how fresh it looks compared to traditional kibble—real turkey and veggies that actually resemble food. My pup is usually picky, but he gets excited as soon as I open the bag, and he licks the bowl clean every time. It's definitely more expensive so I use as a treat. And it comes frozen so the shipping is kind of a pain as it's a giant box with ice packs. I wouldn't order this for everyday and would probably get at the store instead.

Since switching, his coat looks shinier and his energy has been great. It is a little pricey and takes freezer space, but the quality is worth it. My Pit really likes the FreshRaw. He usually leaves a little food in and around the bowl - this is the only food he 100% cleans up. It was received on a hot day, still frozen, packed with dry ice so I'm not worried about the shipping. It's a little pricey for my current budget, so I'm alternating with other foods or using as a topper. It would be helpful if the packaging was an easier to reseal design.
