First time trying raw food

I was curious about feeding my dog raw food but decided to try it after reading the instructions that it is kept frozen then thaw for 12 hours in the fridge and

I was curious about feeding my dog raw food but decided to try it after reading the instructions that it is kept frozen then thaw for 12 hours in the fridge and to be consumed within 3 days. It came packaged in dry ice which made me seem the care Chewy has for the product safety with clear instructions for food and packaging. I gave my dog the lamb one first and he loved it so much. He ran over to the bowl and you would have thought he has ate this before with how he didn't hesitate. I now have the second flavor ready in the fridge for him to try next. I love that it has a variety of flavors so I feel he is getting new experiences than plain dry dog food.

As a devoted pet parent, I'm always looking for food that I can truly feel good about serving, and this Instinct FreshRaw Meals Variety Pack is it! My little girl, a sweet Husky/Lab mix, gives this food two enthusiastic paws up. She is so excited for this meal that she waits patiently right by my side as I prepare her food. I thaw the frozen packs in the fridge for about 24 hours, and the convenience of the pre-portioned packs makes mealtime a breeze. What I appreciate most are the ingredients I trust. I was honestly a little concerned on how/if this would still be good after shipping. It was well packaged, the dry ice kept everything cold and the food was not spoiled. I only started with a little bit for each dog because wasn't sure if they were going to like it. It was a HUGE hit with all three of my dogs. Definitely something I would get again for them

We are Instinct die hards and are have an auto-ship for the Raw Frozen Adult bites, so we were super excited when we were gifted the FreshRaw Meals to try! As usual, our Frenchies absolutely devoured their bowls of food. They get so excited for meal time with Instinct compared to the myriad of other brands we had tried in the past. We particularly loved how easy it was to pull out a couple packs from the freezer at night to cover meal time for the next day or two. We loved that it also is storable in an air tight container for a few days which makes it convenient for quick meal times without waiting for a defrost.

We didn’t even get to try the product. Packing slip is dated 8/30/25, delivered 9/4/25. There was absolutely no ice left, not even a little bit cold. The product

We didn’t even get to try the product. Packing slip is dated 8/30/25, delivered 9/4/25. There was absolutely no ice left, not even a little bit cold. The product had thawed and fell out of the box, meat juice was leaking everywhere. All of the individual packages were busted open and growing mold.

I’ve been feeding my dog, Angus, Instinct products for a while now. He’s already a fan of their raw (frozen and freeze dried) and the Raw Boost kibble, so I decided to give the FreshRaw Meals Variety Pack a try. Safe to say, this one’s a winner. From the moment I opened the pack, Angus was glued to my side. The food looks and smells like actual, real ingredients rather than overly processed mystery stuff. The variety is a big plus, too. Angus can be picky with repetition, but rotating through different proteins keeps him interested and excited at mealtimes. No hesitation, no sniff-and-walk-away. He cleans his bowl every time. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to give their dog a healthier, more natural diet.

Loving It!

My pup, Teddy, has been eating this consistently for over a month, which is unheard of for him! Normally, after a few days he gets picky and decides he no longer

My pup, Teddy, has been eating this consistently for over a month, which is unheard of for him! Normally, after a few days he gets picky and decides he no longer likes it- but not this! I've been feeding all the proteins in rotation to keep it interesting for him and he gobbles it up each meal! He seems to enjoy the texture with extra little chunks of carrots, blueberries, and meat. So glad we found something he loves!
