Do these bones splinter?

The Country Butcher tests all of their bones for splintering. They conduct pressure tests and moisture tests to ensure the best bone strength. Because of the natural process they put their bones through, they will not splinter any easier than a raw bone. As with any food or treat, supervision is always recommended, as all dogs have different chewing habits.

But he smelled it anyway. Then he was so engaged in chewing it, he just ignored everything going on around him so long as he had his bone to chew. I think it must have been his first real bone.

The dog could chew small pieces off of this bone and he got a piece caught in the back of his throat. I had to pry his mouth opened to get the piece of bone out of the back of his mouth! It was scarey. He could have choked on it! I do not recommend this bone because of what happened to me. It,s a good thing I was close by my dog and saw him choking!

I bought 6 bones for my dogs and my friends dogs. 3 dogs are aggressive chewers and when I received the bones, they were all half a shank I.e. the shank had been

I bought 6 bones for my dogs and my friends dogs. 3 dogs are aggressive chewers and when I received the bones, they were all half a shank I.e. the shank had been cut lengthways which I suspect would weaken the bone. The images show a full shank not half of one. Consequently one of the aggressive chewers has literally eaten half of the bone. I am worried to give mine theirs for fear of choking.

She loved it!!

She spent hours with this bone and it’s still going strong. It did not get nearly as gross as the raw ones do or splinter into dangerous small pieces. Highly recommend
