    Great product

By Shannalee on Oct 10, 2021

My dogs loved this stuff and it’s easy to give in his food. He was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma in March 2021 and give 5 months to live. It’s October 2021 and he’s doing great. Diet change plus this has really made a huge difference.

    Not too tasty

By Barb on Jul 10, 2021

My dog refused to eat her food when I added this to it, so I had to resort to emptying out some gel-capsules I had and putting the daily measured requirement of the turkey tail in the capsules to get her to take it. If you only put it in capsule form, it would make this soooo much easier to give. Now I have to buy a bag of empty capsules just to be able to use the rest of this up. And believe me, it makes a big mess trying to put it in capsules. Please reconsider and give a choice of either the powder form OR capsule form. As to whether this is working for us helping to shrink my girl's tumor, it's too soon to tell. I sure hope it is.

    my pup is LOVING this

By Turkeytail on Jul 14, 2021

My pup was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in April and was given 2 weeks to 2 months to live. I started him on this at the recommendation of the vet and friends. Well, it’s been 3 months and he’s doing great!!! He’s eating better than I’ve ever seen him eat. I have to add a little gravy (very dry & pasty) to this and mix it with his food. Do I really know if it’s the turkey tail or something else? No. But what I can say is the my pup is doing great and we’re enjoying every day we have with him!

    Disappointed

By Kathy on May 23, 2021

My dog refuses to eat his kibble when I mix this in. He has an inoperable cancerous growth in his sinus skull area. My vet told me this many times helps to slow the malignancy. I wish it came in pill form. Anyone ordering should start with the small bag in case their dog won’t eat it.

    I'm a believer

By Maddy on Apr 16, 2021

Maddy is a 10 yr old boxer/lab mix with Mediastinal Lymphoma (T-cell) discovered on 2/19. After the failure of the 1st round of CHOP chemo protocol (standard protocol for canine lymph) we began to get VERY serious on her treatment challenge. Oncology has switched to the LOP protocol and her pet parents started digging into every avenue they could find on our end as each week became a guessing game as to whether lab work would allow for a chemo treatment. Switching to a high protein/low carb diet Mad's cut out every drop of sugar & went to VERY low carbs (as sugar & carbs have been proven to be gasoline to a fire when it comes to blossoming cancer cells.) In addition she was started on pro-biotics Maddy is a 10 yr old boxer/lab mix with Mediastinal Lymphoma (T-cell) discovered on 2/19. In addition she was started on pro-biotics, fish oil & turkey tail mushroom. Turkey tail became a tool in our toolbox once we read the incredible studies of the Univ Of Penn canine mushroom study. With the blessing of our Oncologist we have been giving her this supplement 3 times a day in her home-cooked diet. She just returned from chemo yesterday to the delight of her parents & Oncologist alike with AMAZING lab work. I can't swear to you the mushroom is the singular godsend or it's a combo of all the tools we are using to fight this battle, but we are currently on an upswing and we'll take EVERY good day we can get. I was concerned Mad's might be turned off to the taste of anything new, but she gobbles every meal right up. The powder is easy to measure, use & store. As long as we are blessed with our Mad's here on earth she will be a proud recipient of this product be it in remission or during chemo treatments alike. … more

    Won't eat it

By BluesMom on Jan 31, 2021

My lab won’t swallow this. I’ve tried hiding a tsp in wet food, chicken broth, nutritional yeast, mashed potatoes, beef brisket, and even all of these things mixed together. He sniffs and sometimes will take one bite then shakes his head and walks away. I’m going to try putting it into capsules and then the capsules into pill pouches. I can’t comment on the effectiveness, just the difficulty of feeding it. He is by no means a picky eater.

I swear my hound dog’s fatty tumors are shrinking! He doesn’t mind the taste, but he’s not too picky. Hopefully it comes back in stock soon!

    Important Supplement

By Amys on Dec 26, 2020

My dogs both happily eat their food with this supplement in it. I also give them the Recovery version as well. It really seems to help my senior girls!
