As advertised
Description is accurate regarding grain size of 0.25-1mm, and this sand is pretty uniform in grain size (very very little sand outside that size range). Rinsing 3 times was sufficient to remove any sand dust. Website still will not allow photo upload, despite being well under the limit of 5mb.
Glorified play sand
To no fault of Chewy. Great price, fast shipping. Caribsea showed it as coarse sand to micro pebbles. This is fine sand. I have very expensive filters. This would wreck impellers and motors. And nearly impossible to vac. Now I will have top notch horseshoe boxes this summer.
TOTALLY IMPRESSED!
Didn't think I'd like it, but it's the best I ever had! It's safe and will not harm fish, keeps water clean, and beautiful to look at. I'm totally impressed!
Great unfortunately one bag came with tear at side have to reorder a replacemet
Wonderful got two bags of this and two bags of another sand for contrast, unfortunately one bag was packaged for shipping and it clearly had a tear in side instead of replacement before shipping they shipped it and sand about 1/2 cup was in the box when delivered.
Pre-washed and Beautiful
This sand says it comes pre-washed and it really does. I added about 40lbs of sand and my water was barely even cloudy. That small cloudiness settled and cleared up within a few hours
Very Beautiful sand
The sand turned out to be really nice and beautiful I enjoy having it in my 3 gallon tank that I just set up
