Typical undesirable effects associated with NSAIDs such as vomiting, soft faeces/diarrhoea, faecal occult blood, loss of appetite and lethargy have been reported. These adverse reactions occur generally within the first treatment week and are in most cases transient and disappear following termination of the treatment but in very rare cases may be serious or fatal.
As with other NSAIDs there is a risk of rare renal or idiosyncratic hepatic adverse events.
Do not administer other NSAIDs and glucocorticoids concurrently or within 24 hours of each other. Some NSAIDs may be highly bound to plasma proteins and compete with other highly bound drugs, which can lead to toxic effects.
Concurrent administration of potential nephrotoxic drugs should be avoided.
Do not use in cats. Do not use in pregnant or lactating bitches. Do not use in puppies less than 4 months of age. Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipents. Do not use in dogs suffering from cardiac, hepatic or renal disease, where there is a possibility of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, or where there is evidence of a blood dyscrasia.

Osteoarthritis is a painful condition caused by "wear and tear" of cartilage and other parts of the joints that may result in the following changes or sings in your dog: limping or lameness, decreased activity or exercise, stiffness or decreased movement of joints. Yo control surgical pain (e.g. for surgeries such as sprays, ear procedures, or orthopedic repairs) your veterinarian may administer Carprieve before the procedure and recommend that your dog be treated for several days after going home.
I originally purchased a less expensive tablet. My dog was prescribed 1 1/2 tablets per day. Trying to split the lesser expensive tablet was a nightmare. They were chalky and many times just disintegrated to the point where I would have to throw the powder away. These tablets split cleanly and easily with a knife. I have yet to find a pill cutter large enough for these and the joint supplement. Both tablets are the same size. The most important thing is she seems to be feeling better on this brand. I feel better knowing she is getting the exact dose she needs.
My old collie with lumbar/hip pain has a very sensitive digestion. He loves these chews and hasn’t had any issues thus far (1+ months 100mg daily).
We just changed to auto ship and I don’t know why I resisted do long! This company is “top notch” since they still treat customers like it’s always supposed to be!! Thanks for being here!!
This is a great substitute for name brand Rimadyl. While it’s a bit more expensive than the generic Carprofin it’s much more affordable and my dog loves the taste!
I was actually tracking the delivery against their competitor. Guess there is not a Benedict to using one over the other. I thought there was.
My Daisy has been taking this medicine in the pill form. The chewable is much easier to give her. She eats it with no problems. I don't have to hide it in human food like I do with the pill.
I liked the first smaller tablets that I received. These are harder to break in half
So much better than having to use a pill pocket. Dog is excited to get meds like a treat
SO much easier to get my dog to take 1 of this 2 times a day than it was to take 3/4 of a tablet twice a day! They seem to work as well as the tablets too, but obviously she can't tell me how she feels.
We have a very, very old dog with Cushings and extremely severe arthritis. This helps with the arthritis pain but if the dose is too high, our dog can’t walk and stand much. With a lower dose his muscles and coordination are better
