Mixes well with hard food to provide additional flavor.
I bought this originally for one of my cats for hydration + nutrients & all of them LOVE it!! Not sure the purpose of peppercorns when marketed to cats & dogs (not toxic but not great) & bay leaves would be cooked in broth (otherwise raw is toxic to cats & dogs). I’ll continue to buy if in stock.
I purchased this product hoping my furbabies would like it. They wouldn't have anything to do with it. Even the Farrel cats didn't like it
Our lovely cat would have nothing to do with this. It isn't like gravy at all, and if you have chicken stock you might as well use that. AND it only lasts for 7 days in the refrigerator when it's opened. I'm going to stay on the hunt for gravy to put on her food.
Only thing I can add is that my cats dug in then backed off a bit. I diluted the broth slightly & now my cats enjoy it regularly. Perhaps dogs would appreciate the hearty broth as-is.
this is delicious. I use it every day on the pup's food and I have used it twice for my own food. It's PURE the stuff in the store usually has onions in it and they can't have that.
My cat tends to over eat, so I add this to her kibble and it also helps for in between meal times when she is hungry. since shes on a diet, shes hungry a lot but this really helps! I freeze mine into ice cubes and let it thaw out for both my cats to enjoy. they like it that way.
I bought this for my cat after she had dental surgery (6 teeth removed) because I figured she'd like to have something soft to eat. So I gave her a small bowl of it, then started using it to soften her dry food. She goes crazy for it! I bought some of the less expensive, regular chicken broth for cats and dogs, too, but she didn't seem to like it. I'm giving her this stuff as a treat now.
Why is this on Chewy being marketed for cats if it has bay leaves and black pepper which cats should NOT be consuming????
My dog loves this as a good treat warmed up or cold he did not love it poured over his food though definitely recommend because even though I bought it to pour over his food it did not go to waste
