My cats were immediately interested in this fountain and began drinking from it right away. I selected this product based on positive reviews, specifically seeking a quiet water fountain for my cats, and found that it corresponds well with the product description. It is important to soak the small filter for the recommended amount of time; I exceeded the suggested five minutes as a precaution, and upon inspection the next day, there was no black residue or unusual material present at the bottom. Investing in a stainless-steel fountain is worthwhile, as plastic alternatives do not keep the water fresh and tend to result in slimy water within one or two weeks.

good but cats won't drink from it

I have two indoor cats and purchased this because my senior cat has kidney failure and needs to drink more water to prevent dehydration. The was super easy to set

I have two indoor cats and purchased this because my senior cat has kidney failure and needs to drink more water to prevent dehydration. The was super easy to set up and looks so cute (like their own little water fountain). It is very quiet and the light is helpful to see how much water is left. Unfortunately neither of my cats are not using the fountain. I have no idea why, maybe it's the metal ball in the middle or just not enough water being held at the sides and they aren't used to their tongues touching something when they drink water. My 2 year old cat was a little more interested than my 16 year old cat (who wanted nothing to do with it) but it's still a no go (she's now jumping up on the counters trying to drink from cups). I'm going to try another one.

I’ve had a plastic pet fountain from a retail store before and it was very difficult to clean which is why I decided to find a stainless steel one and chuck the old. So far this one has been amazing. It’s ridiculously quiet. My last one the motor was so loud I had to use it in the kitchen instead of my room. I have this one in my room and the cats took to it right away. Of course, they had to sniff it and make sure it wasn’t going to poison them first but it is now deemed friend so cool beans. I also love the blue light. I don’t know why I just assumed that was the picture on the website to make it look nice but no, it looked even better in person. 10 out of 10 from me.

The fountain is almost all stainless steel; the dome-shaped top clearly meant that the falling water would be silent and not make a splashing sound; the small raised spigot delivered a gentle stream right onto the dome; the closed design of the fountain meant that no external dust or hair or insects would fall into the fountain; the water level window is large and useful on a visual level; the filters and filter compartment are very convenient to use; AND they make a lifetime warranty available! I really mean it when I say this is the best cat water fountain I have ever owned!

Well I just got it set up & warrenty says I have to leave a review to get warrenty on this. So far Juno has used it as a pedicure station. She is dipping her toes in it & licking them.... so.... she is getting water. The others are wary & still drinking from the sink, but we need more then a few days to see. I bought it for my seniors who love playing in the sink. I know water intake is a huge concern for kitties, so I'm doing all I can to facilitate interest. If I can update this review in time as to how the other 6 kitties do with their use i will. :)

Soooo quiet!!!

I’m super impressed with how quiet it actually is! It seems like my cat won’t be able to tilt it over like his last fountain but we’re only on week 1! My cat instantly

Quiet enough for the bedroom
