These amounts are averages and your cat's needs may differ. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your cat maintain an ideal body condition. FEEDING KITTENS: Kittens generally nibble solid foods at 3 - 4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Cat Chow Complete available to these kittens at all times. Just add one part liquid to three parts Cat Chow Complete, changing frequently to ensure freshness. After weaning, at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. Start a self-feeding program, leaving food in the dish at all times. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your kitten maintain an ideal body condition. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION: Cat Chow Complete provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. FEEDING TIP: Changes in your cat's diet should be made gradually to allow your cat to become accustomed to a new food. Substitute small amounts of the new food for the old food, gradually increasing the amount of the new food while decreasing the old food, over a period of 7 - 10 days. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

I was really happy to have the opportunity to allow my cats to try the Purina Cat Chow Complete High Protein Salmon Dry Cat Food. I have a really hard time finding a dry cat food that my cats will eat on a regular basis, and i am constantly looking for new flavors to have them try. My cats really seemed to like this dry food when I first gave it to them, and they went through the sample bag fairly quickly. I went right out and bought another bag as soon as the first one was gone, but for some reason they aren't eating the second bag as well as the first bag. I'm gonna have to wait to see if they start eating it again, but I do feel like fir the most part they liked it pretty well. My kitties aren't big fans of dry cat food, so the fact that they ate the first bag so quickly, makes me feel like they did like this food enough that I will probably try giving it to them on a regular basis. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
This is Mookie again I sent other reviews but to follow up all this cat food is going to Goat House Refuge its a no-kill place for cats. They roam freely and are taken care of the lady who runs the place along with volunteers. The cats get vet care when needed not to mention a lot of love. Address: 379 Goat House Road Pittsboro N.C 27312
I got to try the Purina Cat Chow Complete for my cats. The pieces are the perfect bite size for my cats and are in all assorted shapes. The flavor was something new for them so I was not sure how they would react. They both went right to their dishes and ate it without any hesitation so that tells me they were happy with it. It looks like a fairly good food and seems to be a fair price. I would recommend trying it. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
I was recently given the opportunity to have my picky kitty try out Purina Cat Chow Complete High Protein Salmon Dry Food. I wondered how this would go because our kitty is quite spoiled and usually turns his nose up at food that doesn't have a topper of wet food or shreds mixed in. But figured we'd give it a try in hopes to find a dry cat food he'd be willing to eat solo. Surprisingly he dug in with no complaints. So the flavor was approved. I definitely wish the Salmon was higher up on the ingredients list seeing how it's got Salmon as the title of the food. It's in there just quite a ways down. But apparently it tastes good and is high in protein so it's a good option to have on hand if you have a picky kitty like I do. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. I was sent this bag of food free for review. I opened the box this was sent in and a different box. While putting the other item away my cat woke from nap in different room and was there waiting for me by her dish demanding this new food. I'd say that's unusual for her in the middle of the day. Of course I let her try some then. Immediately she likes the salmon flavor. The next morning she came up to me as I was turning the light on (the one thing I do before feeding her) to let me know she wanted more of this food. Now that it's a regular food she's less demanding about it. She still eats it daily.
I received this product for free to try out and tried to submit my review before, but it got rejected because I didn’t put that I got it for free to try, so they are making me write a whole review again, which is really disappointing, because the cats liked the food regardless of wether I bought this bag or not, and this is the very first time I reviewed anything off the Purina program, so they will probably kick me out of the program for not doing it perfectly the first time. I have joined other free trial programs that weren’t so rigid and a lot more fun because they didn’t “reject” all the work you did do promoting their company, and the very first program too.
Disclaimer: I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. My cat is 7 months old, and he really loves his salmon dry food. I have purchased other brands and he doesn't seem to like those, but Purina did it with this one! Nothing beats the 24 vitamins that are a part of this product that makes me confident that my cat is getting all the nutrients he needs to thrive. My cat already knows when he is getting his tasty delicious food as soon as he sees the bag. Love that its made with real, savory salmon.
I'm having a conundrum reviewing this, so I'll just share my experience. When I first got this bag if food my cats loved it. Two of them immediately came over to check it out as I was pouring it on a plate. They quickly started eating it up. Over the course of a day I saw all 4 of my cats nibbling the food. I had to refill the plate the next day as it was empty. I was pleased to have found something they liked. But then they slowed down eating it. I was topping it off only once a week, so thought they'd lost their taste for it. However they are now back to eating ut,it, I guess they like it! Yes my kitties are goofy.
We have one adult finicky eater in our home. His name is pouncer and he won't eat anything except for one flavor of Purina. So when I got the chance to try this product for free for me to review, I figured that's perfect! I went into it thinking he most likely won't eat it, but what can it hurt to try, right!? Well, I was surprised when pounce cleared his bowl! He's eaten only one flavor for a couple years now and finally we have salmon to add to the rotation too! I'm one very happy camper and so if my cat! Oh! And I want to add, my cat has had a history of getting sick with some other kinds of hard foods, and this did not seem tp upset his belly at all either! So a total win win for us. #ad
I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. My two fur babies are coming up on 18 years in age and they are extremely fussy about food. They were both very eager to eat this food when it arrived and chowed down on it like it was a new favorite. They seemed to eat way more of this food during day than any other they have had. I was unsure if it was because they truly enjoyed it or if they were not getting full. Currently they barely empty the bowl but are still eating it; they have not turned their noses up at it. I have noticed a change in their litter box visits; they pee a lot more, even though I have not noticed an uptake in water intake and their poop has amore pungent odor. They do not seem to be suffering from any excess throwing up, which is very good. I am impressed by the nutrient content in this food, just not the order of the ingredients. I keep the old ladies more to a grain and by-product free diet. So for me this is a good emergency stand by food. AFFORDABILTY, that is the key benefit to Purina brand foods and #PurinaCatChowComplete is a good option for people on a budget, who want to take care of their feline #FurBuddies.
