This litter can be flushed. It has a 98% USDA Certified Biobased rating, so it is basically bamboo and glue to hold the pellets together.
Is this made from real bamboo and safe from the imitation heavenly bamboo that's toxic to dogs?

Not what I was expecting

This litter is most like wood pellets, which considering bamboo is a tree should not have been a surprise to me, but it was. If you don’t have a very specific litter box to accommodate the wood pellets it does not work well. I found that the pee clumps tend to break up easily into smaller pieces that end up falling through the litter scoop and become impossible to get out. You also need a scoop with very large slats in order to use it effectively. The pellets tend to stick to cats #2 which I find actually increases wasted litter. The bag of litter I bought completely filled both of my medium sized litter boxes and after only a few days of use already needs topping off, so I also wouldn’t say it lasts longer than “regular” litter. Also, this SMELLS. I have to scoop more often (which is already once a day) to keep the smell at bay because it doesn’t cover poop smell at all. The litter itself vaguely smells like a barn yard so that combination is not great. Overall, I’m giving 2 stars because I don’t think even with the correct set up that I would like this litter, but am granting them the benefit of doubt. The smell and price is not great, and would probably recommend just going with regular wood pellets. I really like bamboo as an organic and renewable resource and I hope I can come back to this brand in the future.

Not quite what I hoped

I recently decided to switch from pine to bamboo litter and this one definitely lives up to most of its claims. It absorbs odors quickly! In fact, the bamboo smell is quite pleasant. (In the same way I find the smell of pine litter pleasant, as a life-long Mainer.) However, there's a lot of dust when transferring from the bag to the litter box, even with a scoop rather than pouring directly from the bag — more dust than I ever experienced with pine litter over 17+ years. Urine clumps well but falls apart almost immediately when you uncover and/or scoop it. I was not impressed, especially after using the Wee Kitty bamboo litter (which was out of stock when I went to re-order). The crumbling clumps end up as sawdust, like pine litter. My cat still tracks the sawdust around, though not as much as with pine. I warn against flushing too much at once. Maybe it's because the clumps crumble so easily or maybe because my litterbox isn't in the bathroom and it takes a few trips to scoop out a day's worth of cat waste. The toilet clogged a couple of times, which wasn't an issue with the Wee Kitty brand. If the crumbling clumps don't bother you and/or if "flushable" isn't high on your priority list, this is an excellent litter choice. It just isn't everything I wanted.

Bamboo cat litter is great

Cool Product

Overall I'd recommend Catfidence to anyone looking for an organic, low dust litter. It's a good quality product that's gentler on the environment. The odor control and tracking could be better, but if you stay on top of scooping it does the job fairly well. I wish it came in bigger sizes or cost a little less. But for an eco-friendly litter that cats like, Catfidence gets 4 stars from me!

optimum for felines

I adore the bamboo kitty litter that is organic! It's completely changed my cat's and my life. It not only has an eco-friendly composition, but it also effectively eliminates odors. Compared to conventional clay litter, bamboo has an almost six-fold higher absorbency. It leaves very little odor and is dust-free, which my cat adores.

Game-Changer!

I absolutely love the organic bamboo cat litter! It's a game-changer for both my cat and me. Not only is it eco-friendly, but it also controls odors and remarkably well. My kitty took into it instantly, and I appreciate that it's gentle on her paws. Five stars for this fantastic product.

Felix my cat, just loves this litter!

We cat owners absolutely know that the most important thing is for our cat to like it. Felix detests some cat litter but he totally loves this. I think it may be the genuine bamboo. No more going in the plants, he is using his litter box routinely again. What a relief!

You wont find other For sure

defiantly better than Double duty and Catfidence thou i love the two but my cat loves the scent very much pleasing as my cat can be picky with a lot of products and its also dust free
