The cardboard blue and green part was already starting to peel off the scratcher when it arrived.
My cats love this! The green felt is so soft and the walls are perfect for scratching. My cats love to lay inside it and walk through it. Sometimes if the cats hit it just right, the structure collapses but the cats don't mind using it flat on the ground either. 10/10 recommend!
But the bottom fabric curls up after a short time.
I originally bought this at Home Goods. I just happened upon it and boy, did my cats love it!! They wore it out. I searched for a new one and was so happy to find it on Chewy. So if you don’t mind the mess of the cardboard scratcher, your cats will love it. When the scratcher was finished, it takes awhile, I turned it inside out and laid it flat so they are still using it!
My youngest cat loves it as do my others. A secret hideaway. Buy buy buy it and sprinkle car nip
The best use for this is its oversized double scratching pads. After cutting the two panels away from the fabric bottom, each scratching pad can lay flat and makes two terrific oversized pads big enough for a Ragdoll to scratch on and lounge on or even sleep on.
Although the tunnel is too small for my 3 cats, the scratcher is perfect and they use it all day!
For years our cats would only scratch on carpet remnants I nailed to the wall. All the vertical scratchers were too unstable. Until this.
So I eagerly unwrapped the scratch/tunnel and much to my chagrin, my cat who is 8 months old was totally uninterested. Really. So now it’s in my building vestibule for any other cat parent to take. Maybe another kitten/cat will like this smaller than I thought it would be scratch/tunnel.
Cats love these scratchers. Happy to see Chewy offers them. Did receive slightly damaged but it was ok since the cats will do worse to it.
