My picky eater 3 y/o golden loved Charlee Bear Necessities Freeze-Dried Chicken Recipe Digestive Health Support Grain-Free Dog Food Topper. It comes in a shaker container or you can twist it off and scoop it out (which I did at first for measuring purposes.) I sprinkled the topper over her food and she actively went after it even licking her bowl clean. The food topper is made locally in Wisconsin with real ingredients. The same company makes Hound and Gato food. It has a variety of products and flavors supporting different health issues. My chocolate lab has yet to find something she won’t eat and this proved no different.

My dog has a sensitive stomach (he’s very prone to stomach issues) and my vet recommended adding a probiotic to my dog’s diet. I tried capsules, but he’s a finicky dog and giving him pills can be a bit of a challenge so this meal topper seemed like a perfect way to add them to his diet. It has limited, healthy ingredients (Chicken and chicken liver are the first two ingredients) in addition to the probiotics that make it very palatable. Being finicky my pup will often turn his nose up at his food and slowly graze on it throughout the day. When I put his food down with this he was very interested in it and immediately cleaned out his bowl. He tolerated it very well and it seems to be really helpful so far for his sensitive stomach.

I was eager to try this product, as my rough collie, Buster, is not a motivated eater and has had some stomach issues in the past. We are constantly having to urge him to eat. Because this "topper" said it was raw and packed with pre and probiotics, I thought I would give it a try. NOT disappointed! Buster is literally picking his bowl clean and coming up to me at mealtime, waiting for his meal. I just ordered two more of the larger jars. I sprinkle over his regular food, like you would parm cheese on a pizza! He loves it!

My dogs loved this chicken topper. It comes in a bottle thats 2-3 inches tall, making it easy to take with me on the go. The fine powder was easy to dispense with the shaker top. It didn't smell strongly or bother me at all when I opened it. My dogs dove right in when I put some on their bowl! Yum.

I'd not heard of a food topper before but if you have a finicky pet or one that doesn't want to eat ..... This could do the trick for you! I opened it just to smell it before putting it on the dog food and to me, it doesn't have an odor but BOY HOWDY, my dog's can sure smell it!!! It attracted them right away!
