I have been using this product for my older dog who is starting to have some joint discomfort. He likes the taste and texture and I like the ingredients. I add it to his evening meal. I am not certain if it makes him feel better at this point, but I do think it is worth a try and since he likes it, I will continue to use it. He gets kibble with a moist topping plus a sprinkle of this product.

I have an elder field springer spaniel . She is a bit over 14 years old now . She has slowed down a lot these last 6 months or so , but still enjoys running and barking to “ announce” to all the neighbors when it’s trash pick up day . I think she thinks if she doesn’t perform this running barking ritual that the neighbors will all forget to put their trash out LOL! She is relatively healthy , but does have quite a few fatty tumors and some arthritis in her hips. I was pleased to have found this healthy food topper made by Charlee Bear that is made especially for hip and joint support . I’ve been using this product once a day for a week on her dinner canned dog food . She eats it right up ! I do believe she is resting much more comfortably in the evenings and overnight since starting this meal topper . I am especially pleased that this meal topper comes in a powdery form that can be mixed with any dog food . It’s so easy to use . My old girl has always refused to eat any kind of chews . I’ve bought other joint chews for her only to have her refuse to eat them! The ingredients in this product are wonderful . The ingredient list is pretty short and does not have a bunch of preservatives or things that aren’t easily identified . Some of the basic ingredients include. Salmon, whitefish, flaxseed, cultured yeast , turmeric , and marine micro algae oil. The bottle is a bit small. Only one ounce , but will last a fair amount of time . I’m pleased with the quality of this product and I’m extra pleased that my old girl happily eats her dinner with this product sprinkled on top or stirred in . She really does seem to feel better since starting this meal topper and that makes it a really great product ! Would very much recommend !

I have a super picky little dog when it comes to food so I am always looking for ways to encourage her to eat her meals. Charlee Bear Necessities Freeze Dried sprinkler hit the spot. Rozy has no trouble eating her meals with this topper on it, even the cats loved it when I sprinkled some on their food. First off, this smells a little fishy but not in a bad way, as a matter of fact I think that’s a positive point for the pets as they all inhaled their food after catching a whiff of this when the food bowl was set down. The added benefit of hip & joint support is definitely a big plus as Rozy is 10 and all the cats are seniors. A little sprinkle of this goes a long way so even though this is a small bottle I think it should last awhile.

I used this food topper on a whim, mostly to see if it would convince my dog to eat some older food she’d completely lost interest in. And it actually worked. As soon as I mixed a little of this in, she went right back to eating like it was something new. I like that it’s grain-free and has the hip/joint support (GSD needs that a lot), but honestly the biggest win is just that she enjoys it. It’s easy to sprinkle over her kibble and has that “real fish” smell that she goes crazy for. If your dog gets bored of their food (mine definitely does), this is a simple way to get them interested again.

Easy to sprinkle on and should be obvious that it will have a little fishy smell to it.
