Chew + Heal skin and coat supplements are meticulously crafted to promote optimal skin health and a lustrous coat. Formulated with premium ingredients such as omega fatty acids, biotin, and vitamins A and E, these supplements nourish the skin, reducing dryness and itching. They also help enhance coat texture and shine, leaving your dog soft and glossy. With range of delicious flavors and delivery methods, these supplements are the perfect way to make your pup's coat Westminster-worthy.

Rich Ingredients and Effective Formulas

Salmon, cod, and other fish serve as the cornerstone of these formulas, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA. Essential nutrients like omega-3s promote skin and coat hydration, foster a normal inflammatory response, and fortify skin barrier function to combat common issues like dryness, flakiness, and irritation. Using carefully selected fish-based ingredients, these supplements help your furry companion enjoy a radiant, healthy exterior that reflects a vibrant inner vitality.

Liquid Gold, Easily Dispensed

An easy-to-use pump lets you effortlessly dispense these nutrient-rich salmon and cod liver oils while keeping your hands from smelling fishy. Add them to your pup’s favorite meal as part of your dog’s skin and coat wellness routine. They contain no fillers and few calories, so you can feel good about giving them. Choose from three excellent options: Wild-Caught Alaskan Salmon Oil, Wild-Caught Icelandic Cod Liver Oil, and Norwegian Salmon Oil. Prepare for your dog’s coat to shine!

What are the dimensions of these softgels?

What is the appropriate dosing for a cat?

Answer by ChewyJan 09, 2024
It is recommended to give smaller cats about half of one softgel every day. Larger cats can have a full capsule daily. As a rule, the body weight guideline of 1 softgel per 20 pounds of weight is suitable for both dogs and cats.

We couldn't get past the smell my dogs are all small and wouldn't eat whole plus found that to be too much for them as they are all 3.5l b to 12 lb. When you open capsule don't get on your hands it takes a long time to wash off the smell not to mention their breath was ok before but very rancid smelling and gross after just one dose. Switched to a chewable one working great.

Convenience of a capsule was wasted when my dog would not take it

I got capsules because I was tired of cleaning up after squirting fish oil from larger containers onto my dog's food - it would spray everywhere, especially once the oil started congealing after a couple weeks. However, the capsules were totally ignored by my dog. I ended up cutting them open and squeezing the oil onto my dog's food. Not convenient after all. And then the smell was off (it's a combo of different fish, not just salmon) and my dog would not eat the dosed food. Just not a great alternative for us. But it might work for some other dogs.

We offer this supplement in addition to a vitamin/mineral supplement with our homemade dog food. Our medium sized dogs have no problem eating these when tucked into their food. On its own, they're not interested. But really, who wants to eat just fish oil. Not me.
