Is the Dasuquin Soft Chews the same as Dasuquin Advanced Soft Chews?

Answer by ChewyDec 18, 2018
The Nutramax Dasuquin Soft Chews Joint Health Large Dog Supplement is not the same as the Nutramax Dasuquin Advanced Soft Chews. the Nutramax Dasuquin Advanced Soft Chews contain MSM, while this supplement does not contain MSM. MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) has been promoted as having powerful anti-inflammatory and pain reducing properties, blocking the pain perception in certain nerve fibers before the pain impulse reaches the brain. Typically it is given to pets with arthritis who are experiencing pain.

This has avocado in it. Thought dogs cant have that?

Answer by ChewySep 20, 2018
The stem, leaves, pit, and peel of an avocado are not safe for dogs, however, avocado oil is a risk-free way to give your dog the benefits of this fruit.

Is there MSM in this product?

Answer by ChewySep 26, 2018

The delivery was late. Or maybe it was actually going to arrive early, but then FedEx couldn't deliver it on the day that the email notification said they would. Then, I got an email saying there was a problem with the delivery address and I needed to contact Chewy. But, there was no problem with the address; FedEx just couldn't deliver it on time, so they threw it back on me, saying that the address was the problem. So, Chewy, I think you are doing a terrific job. FedEx, on the other hand, is not. FedEx also likes to double-park in the bike lanes in Chicago, and I ride a bike here, so I don’t like them. Chewy, keep up the good work. But let FedEx know that the service in Chicago is NOT great.

i’m very disappointed because these were not inexpensive. I think maybe they’re too big. If they were smaller it'd be easier for me to hide them so I have been cutting them up into smaller pieces and putting them in something But he’s pretty smart if he senses something in it he spits it out he does that with everything he does not like taking medication. He gets Apaqal every day so I have to hide that in cheese kind of wish Icould return it for a refund. I don’t know if that’s something I can do..

This bag seemed stale.

This was the second time buying this for my older, large dog. My vet recommended it. The first bag was soft/moist. This one is very dry and crumbly, like it is stale

Our Furbaby Feels Better

Dasuquin is a step up for our elderly furbaby. She needed just a little more to help her aging hips. It has helped her to get a little more pep in her step. Especially

Sets her jowls a-drooling!

Our lass loves these. She knows when it's time and starts drooling as soon as I walk towards the bag. Are they helping? Beats me, but if there's a chance they are,

Vet Recommended

Our vet recommended these for our 3yr old pittie. He won’t eat them whole but we cut them into fours and mix into his food and he eats them no problem.

She likes it!!!

She looks forward to these every evening. No coaxing, no hiding it in a hot dog, she likes them as much as she does the treats.
