Got this mainly for my Aussie her under coat doesn’t come out very easy on its own. WOW! I was so surprised the amount of hair my poor girl was packed down with. This brought it right out. It works well on my German shepherd Anatolian mix too!

I could tell that my elderly German Shepherd, Lucy, felt relieved after I used this brush on her for the first time. It seemed to remove some matted hair on her back and hips that was causing her even more pain on top of her mobility issues. Although we brush her often, she has become more sensitive so the Furminator has to be donated. We switched to a cheap rake and it worked a little better but she was still sensitive. This brush was perfect, plus it handled her summer coat blowout very well. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends with GSDs since buying it in May.

This rake is amazing. It gets tangled out of a Doodles‘s hair in a hurry. You have to kind of pick and be gentle but clipsright through any tangles and thins, fluffy

Ive had 3 different rakes with a similar design and this is by FAR the most efficient at removing the undercoat. All brushes of this style run the risk of damaging

Ive had 3 different rakes with a similar design and this is by FAR the most efficient at removing the undercoat. All brushes of this style run the risk of damaging the guard hairs, so don't use if you're looking for a show ring quality groom.. but this one seemed much less prone to cutting or yanking out guard hairs on my aussie compared to others. Highly recommend!
