Made My Ashie Boy Throw Up

My male cat, Ash, is not a picky eater but has a sensitive stomach. I first gave him 1 teaspoon of this food to try out. He ate it up pretty quickly, then immediately

My male cat, Ash, is not a picky eater but has a sensitive stomach. I first gave him 1 teaspoon of this food to try out. He ate it up pretty quickly, then immediately threw it up everywhere. I thought maybe he gobbled it up too fast, so I waited a while and gave him another smaller spoonful. He immediately threw that up everywhere as well. My female cat, Skye, scratched at it like it belonged in the litter box. I’m not sure I even want to donate this food to the shelter in fear that it will make those cats throw up as well.

My Yeti girl is far from a picky eater so I am always excited to offer her new brands and flavors that are good quality and available in cases. Spoiled is an understatement when it comes to our fur babies! Yeti loves both the chicken and the salmon flavors. The chicken variety gives her softer poos but its not soft enough to be concerned about. With the salmon flavor she seems to eat more of the chunks. The only reason I give this 3 out of 5 stars is because of the size of the "shreds". Theyre pretty sizeable pieces of food. Yeti does not eat the shred pieces. When I clean up her bowl, the chunks that are left are a very strange texture. It holds its shape and firmness but reminds me of the texture of a block of tofu. I assume thisnis why shes not eating the pieces.

Theyre more like long chunks. Plus side is it didnt upset my cats tummies and theyre both pretty sensitive.

I've tried this food out over the last few weeks with my three cats, and two of them absolutely loved it. Third cat is extra picky and didn't want it, but the other two devoured it (and my dog also licked their plate clean so apparently he likes it too). It also doesn't smell at all, which I'm usually nervous about when trying a new food for my cats. I'll be buying this again and adding it into their dinner rotation!
