Are the ingredients in this new can identical to the old ingredients? Is the texture the same? Why did the company change the appearance of the label on the can?

The manufacturer rebranded their packaging however the ingredients and textures are the same.

Are these cans BPA free? It is not listed on the can.

Both my cats enjoy Chicken Soup for the Soul, chicken and whitefish. It has a much better nutritional profile than many other canned foods, and it is reasonably priced. I get weary paying high prices for only 3-ounce cans, so this came as a pleasant surprise. I hope Chewy continues to carry this brand's canned food. My cats and I would not mind if other flavors were offered as well! Thanks. My only problem, or it's a curiosity because the product appears here, is that Chewy keeps indicating it's not consistently available for the auto-shipment that I set up. This product was delivered, despite a message on the auto ship page that relayed it wasn't available after creating the auto shipment, and encouraging me to pick a substitute. I did not want a substitute! I was charged for it, the subsequent email showed it being shipped, and the product arrived! The auto ship page is again 'warning' me that the product is not available, although clicking on it shows it to be in stock. I think Chewy is experiencing some technical glitch, not that the CSS is truly not available.

Thinking I will try again when they are a little hungrier and maybe they just need to get accustomed to the flavors. The first few ingredients are true items and I like that, now just need to convince my cats. I will try again, not giving up yet!

My picky senior kities loved this cat food. They typically turn their noses up at pate but all 3 crowded around the dish and they had it licked clean in no time

It was the perfect ratio of meat to gravy. I loved that it was free of wheat by products, as one of my kitties has a sensitive tummy. I also loved that it is free of artificial colors and flavors.

As I feed ferals and strays (three right now) that I have trapped and fixed, and care for, on my acreage, I need to watch cost. This looked much better than Fancy Feast, which I do not feed my own indoor cats, but the outdoor ones eat it!
