          While all Chromalux® light bulbs could be used at any time (due to an increased soothing red spectrum), we find the incandescent collection to be perfect for night time usage, and the enhanced collection for daytime usage.

          They provide a decent amount of heat and purple light.

          I like Having the extra heat now bc the turtles are in our basement where it’s a cooler space then when they lived in our upstairs bedroom before we moved.

          After reading reviews of all kinds, I realized they’re all about the same so I just dove in a chose one. This bulb lasted us 7 months, which seems pretty good. We switch it on every night around 10pm when we go to bed, and off around 6am. Where we live, it’s always cold, especially at night. This works great to keep our bearded warm enough, but able to sleep.

It is a great thing to have for your beardie or any lizard that requires light so it mimics their natural habitat! I recommend anyone whose lizard does the same as Aries, my bearded dragon to purchase this blue night light so they know it is their bedtime!
