Great Product, Confusing Depictions by Chewy

My 75-pound 1-year-old loves these balls for chasing when thrown or when he "bounces" them on his own! They work well with ChuckIt throwers as well as when thrown

My 75-pound 1-year-old loves these balls for chasing when thrown or when he "bounces" them on his own! They work well with ChuckIt throwers as well as when thrown by hand. They are bouncier than most balls, very tough, but squishy enough that my boy enjoys chewing them at times and listening to the squishy noises! The glow fades about 10-15 minutes after the light source is removed, but it is easily renewed with a flashlight. Beware of Chewy's photos! I ordered 4 balls, size large, packaged one to a card. When they asked me to write a review, they used an image of 2 balls (size M?) on a card...then when I began to write the review, they displayed an image that I can't read but used a description of '4 count, Small.'

We have bought normal CHUCKIT balls before, and our puppy showed no interest. This one, however, she loves! I'm thinking it might be the squishiness of it, but I'm not sure. I will say it doesn't stay lit up for long, but it definitely does glow in the dark, pretty brightly after you first finish charging it. Our puppy (7-month-old golden retriever) would literally play keep-away with us with this ball for 20 minutes in the snow. We'd barely have to get near her, and she'd take off with it across the yard. Highly recommend!

Great glow in the dark play toy!

My dogs love to chase these glow in the dark balls at night especially when we get home and they were left at the house. They get so excited. Even in the pitch black

My dogs love to chase these glow in the dark balls at night especially when we get home and they were left at the house. They get so excited. Even in the pitch black I can see exactly where the ball is as they run with it in their mouth - quite comical! We also found that our pool lights really light it up well and make it fun for night time ball fetching in the pool!

Really glows and bounces high!

My GSD LOVES to play fetch. Since the days are shorter I needed to find a glow in the dark ball since we cannot play during the week until after 430 pm. I was concerned we would get this set and the balls would bounce about as good as a wet towel but I was thrilled to see these balls are great! They bounce higher than her tennis balls so her rhythm gets thrown off at first (she is a major league leap into the air and catch mid bounce) but she loves these as much as I do.

My dog who is about 18 lbs seems to really like the soft rubber texture of this toy, and how bouncy it is. He doesn't have trouble picking it up, though he loses interest in doing so when it gets dirty (same with all other balls). The glow feature isn't very strong -- it fades quickly -- but the bounciness and soft texture still make it one of my dog's favorite balls. Other dogs at the park seem to enjoy it, too. There are other balls that are battery powered that light up much more brightly than the glow of this ball, but they are more expensive (and for some of them, the batteries can't be replaced).

My Golden boy Shiloh loves this ball. When he wears it out I have to make sure to have another one on hand. He has several other balls, but this is the one he usually has in his mouth. Hard core chewers, like his sister, do tend to crack and chew pieces off. So this is strictly Shiloh’s personal ball.

Our GSD kills everything eventually, but these balls so far are just plyable enough and moulded in a way that makes them squishy, but not splitting at any seams

Our GSD kills everything eventually, but these balls so far are just plyable enough and moulded in a way that makes them squishy, but not splitting at any seams (since there are none, its 1 piece construction, hollow with a hole on each end so these squish but don't collapse or break/wear heavy. These are a my recommendation for night-time play with your pup, even if they are a chomper/landshark like our GSD.
