I need a ball that makes noise so my blind dog can follow it. My dog won't be able to run a long distance to get the ball (too many obstacles) so I will just be throwing it a short or medium distance. Can anyone say whether the whistle will be audible during short-medium distance play? Thank you!

This ball creates the whistling sound when traveling through air. Whether the ball is taking flight from a short or long distance, the ball will whistle.

Does this whistler ball have two or four holes? First ball I got had four holes. The last time I ordered the whistler balls they had only two holes per ball. My dog prefers the four hole Chuck It whistlers.

This ball creates the whistling sound when traveling through air and does not contain a separate whistle. All Chuckit! products are BPA Free.

Can you put treats or kibble in the hole to make it an interactive toy?

This dog toy is not made to have treats go inside. The hole in the middle is to make the toy whistle as it flies through the air.

Very durable!!

I’m really happy with how loud the whistle is when you launch this thing and I can be tossed far because it has a nice weight to it and it has good bounce, be cautious

I’m really happy with how loud the whistle is when you launch this thing and I can be tossed far because it has a nice weight to it and it has good bounce, be cautious where you throw it cause you could lose it easy. I have two dogs that are both hard chewers and they haven’t made a mark! Would like to see it come in a dark blue or yellow as those colors really stand out for dogs. 10/10 will keep buying this style ball.

Indestructible Favorites

We have bought these for the last 14 years for our labs. The only reason for needing any new ones is when they get lost. Neither dog has ever chewed a hole through

We have bought these for the last 14 years for our labs. The only reason for needing any new ones is when they get lost. Neither dog has ever chewed a hole through them or tore them, even when they use them more for chewing after a retrieval session. These two colors, along with the floating version seem to be the best ones. We bought a 3 pack years ago that had a white one with flecks of color (like confetti) and that particular one did not hold up like the orange/blue combo.
