Tough and fun ring

My labby mix is 45 lbs and not a voracious chewer. She loves to chase and retrieve this, loves to play tug with it, and likes to use it as a chewing ring. It has lasted over a year with minimal wear and tear. I would rate her as a medium chewer,, certainly able to destroy tennis balls and soft plastic toys in a matter of minutes. Also a dedicated destroyer of squeaky toys, but the ring endures!

Disappointed

After owning many of these mini balls for our Chihuahua I thought I'd take a chance on the ring. Well, he destroyed it in less than 5 minutes. And by destroyed it I mean he made holes in it just from playing with it. Typically I don't let him hold on to toys I could puncture or come apart because he has a nervous chewing habit. Most of his chew toys are by nylabone or something like that. I was really shocked how quickly who chewed through this just playing with us. By the 5th or 6th throw may have puncture holes and by the 10th throw we had to throw it away. I wish I had taken a better look at the reviews because I probably wouldn't have bought it and wasted money.

Not good for strong chewers

My dog loves her Chuckit! balls so I thought I’d give this a try. She loved chasing it down the stairs and across the floor. However I left her with it for maybe 5 minutes while switching over some laundry and she had chewed it in half!! Fun toy but definitely not as durable as the Chuckit! balls.

Love this frisbee!

Our pups love playing frisbee, but the cloth frisbees don't last long with them. I decided to give this one a try, and it's a great one! The size is perfect for my pups -- who are 13 lbs and 19 lbs. They're not tripping over it when they run with it, and it throws nicely. I'm really happy with this purchase!

Not durable for my pups

This did not last long with my 2 lab mixes. They are chewers and love tug of war play both with me and each other. For us, this lasted less an hour so I would not recommend.

Total bummer!

My dog loves this toy, but they aren’t even a challenge to destroy. My dog plays well with it, but at the dog park, other dogs have stolen and immediately destroyed them. Now a price hike too? I can’t really replace a $10 toy every week. It’s a bummer because my dog really loves it.

Not for chewers

Dagwood my Airdale had this in his possession for less than ten minutes When I looked up he had chewed a hole in it already :(

Not for aggressive chewers

We gave the Chuck it ring to our dog, she loved it. Within 10 minutes she chewed through the toy.

Broken in 2 minutes

I purchased this toy because the other chuckit items are all strong and tough & my dogs love them. This ring is hollow and they were able to bite into it within 2 minutes of having the toy. Worst toy purchase I’ve ever made. DO. NOT. BUY.

high interest low durability

My dog loved this but sadly it only lasted a few days as an inside toy. I bought it again and will only use it during play outside or at the dog park. If he lays down with it, he will destroy it. Otherwise a very good fetch and tug toy. Not for a chew toy, but a bully stick if you are looking for the chew toy
