It is a bacteriostatic compound that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis in the bacterial cell. Clindamycin is rapidly absorbed from the canine gastrointestinal tract.

Held my order? For what?

It is critical to Maluuk's well being to have his meds as I indicate. For you to delay shipping for an authorized prescription for whatever reason defeats the purpose

It is critical to Maluuk's well being to have his meds as I indicate. For you to delay shipping for an authorized prescription for whatever reason defeats the purpose of attempting a prompt filling of a prescription needed prior to the auto refill schedule. Now, we have 60 tablets. Great. I needed 20 and you didn't comply. I had to go elsewhere to get the medication in the time frame necessary to meet Maluuk's needs. You failed both of us.

Dog versus Capsule

Capsules do NOT work well with Dogs. Try and force feed them ( 100lb dog ) = NO GOOD MIx in with wet or wet/dry = SPIT THEM OUT. While the medication may be beneficial,

Capsules do NOT work well with Dogs. Try and force feed them ( 100lb dog ) = NO GOOD MIx in with wet or wet/dry = SPIT THEM OUT. While the medication may be beneficial, the delivery mechanism ( capsule ) is INEFFECTIVE. And, there does not seem to be a seam in these capsules that I can find - in order to open and sprinkle on good and mix = anothe NO GOOD. This meficatiin SHOULD BE IN CRUSHABLE CAPLET FORM so that it can be broken into small pieces OR Powderized using a Mortar & Pestle.

My orders are usually large enough to get free shipping, but this time, I needed a refill of Cuore's antibiotic, since he's having oral surgery on 01 Oct, and the vet wanted to be sure the infection was gone. I paid for shipping, and Chewy sent it via FedEx, which has become one of the least timely carriers. It left a depot not far from here (a 45-minute drive at most) before sunup, and didn't arrive until sundown--too late to give it to him, since it has to be taken with food (to hide the bitterness of the pill). I was very disappointed, to say the least! I will be ordering his medications locally, or via the vet, from now on.
