The manufacturer needs to do better

These are intensely better than the liquid (since that made my cat throw up every day regardless of flavoring). That being said, these pills are the absolute worst

These are intensely better than the liquid (since that made my cat throw up every day regardless of flavoring). That being said, these pills are the absolute worst to cut. Especially into 4 pieces. The exterior is firm but the interior just empties out half the time. I've gotten them from multiple vet pharmacies and it's just the way these specific tablets have always been. I wish they came in smaller doses (without costing a fortune) that didn't need to be cut. This medication is extremely bitter, so to anyone filling this for the first time: coat it in something and use a pill shooter. If your cat bites it they will probably puke. Have a container ready for all the broken unusable pieces and powder if you need to cut it. It works great though! My cat has been on it for nearly four years after being given the prognosis of "every day is a blessing" and it has kept him alive and even able to play despite his heart being 3x bigger than my vet's comparison image of a cat who passed from the same illness. Excellent pricing through Chewy compared to tge other pharmacies I've gotten it from, and it's the exact same pills. So, thrilled with getting it from Chewy, not so thrilled with the stagnant quality from the manufacturer.

I don’t know how they manage to hire such consistently good people and in quantities to promptly answer calls while still keeping prices more than reasonable. A rare 5+ stars from me! They take care of the time consuming effort of getting the prescription details worked out with the doctor. Leaving me time to write a review like this for a company I love and respect.

A lower cost generic option compared to Atopica

Pharmacy staff knew how important this drug was for my cat. The pharmacist even called my vet to find out what was going on with the order. ( He hadn't completed his notes). They kept me informed of the order and had it rushed to me. I am so thankful, and they were are my pharmacy hero's. They took a personal interest in keeping an eye on the vet order coming thru and for me to help my cat with CHF avoid throwing a clot. Special thanks to Dale Pharmacy Tech in Kentucky!! Way cheaper than buying from the vet

Buying from Chewy is cheaper than getting the meds from the vet. We are happy using the generic brand and glad that we can then afford to keep our dog in good health
