Not small enough

It’s more affordable than your typical silica based cat litters but the pieces of silica are way too big, my cats don’t like how it feels on their paw pads.

Urine odor

It does it’s job as far as drying out the feces, but it doesn’t control the urine odor.

Might be too soon to tell .....

I've wanted to try the crystal litter for some time, so I was finally able to order this (it was frequently out of stock) and was hopeful I might be able to switch from traditional litter to the crystal, if I was happy with it. We are a multiple cat household, and some of my cats have trouble adjusting to sudden changes, so, I was afraid they would not use the litter since we had never tried it before. I have three litter boxes total, so I decided to use the crystal litter in two, and leave the third with regular litter, just in case they had a hard time adapting to it. The first few days no one would use it. After several days, finally some of them did, but it's still not a big hit yet. I also wonder how how it's going to hold up with multiple cats. Since it doesn't clump and the crystals are supposed to absorb the urine, you can't scoop it out, so I am wondering how long it is going to last before it starts having an odor to it, if a majority of them end up using it. I think if you had one or two cats, that either was used to the crystal, or, acclimated fine to switching, it would be gold. But I'm not sure it's going to work for us, but it might be a little soon to tell.

Not so much

The crystals were really big and my big boy didn't like it. He stood on the edge of the litter box, all 4 paws, he refused to stand in it. Not much odor control

Easy to use

Works great in our automatic litter box! We did not notice any difference between this and the brand name crystal litter.

I was initially thrilled with this litter. The lightweight box of four bags was a definite plus, making it easy to carry. The multi-colored crystals are visually appealing, and two and a half bags filled my oversized litter box nicely. My picky cat took to it immediately, which was a huge win. However, the lightweight nature of the litter, while a benefit in some ways, has become a significant problem. My cat's enthusiastic digging sends litter flying out of the box—so much so that it wakes me up at night. Every morning, I'm greeted by a substantial mound of litter outside the box, despite having litter mats in place. The litter also spreads far beyond the mats, across my floors. I'm concerned that these piles outside the box might encourage my cat to eliminate outside the box. I'm reduced to using a plastic bag over my hand to pick up the mound of litter and return it to the box. While the color-changing crystals make it easy to see where my cat has urinated, this feature becomes less helpful because it's impossible to scoop out the soiled litter effectively. It mixes with the clean litter, even when I'm hand-scooping. The result is that the "clean" litter quickly becomes mixed with urine-soaked particles. Ultimately, this litter has proven to be incredibly time-consuming to maintain. I'm spending far too much time on my hands and knees, hand-scooping instead of using a traditional scoop. This level of effort is unsustainable. I think it would be even more unsustainable for a multi-cat household (which I typically have). Even with just one cat, it's proving to be too much work.
