CollarDirect Leather Cat Collar with Bell, Mint Green, Medium: 9 to 11-in neck, 3/8-in wide

for poppy's first collar I got the same kind but different color (cream/beige)that her sister willow has. as poppy happens to be a tortoise shell calico and difficult to get a collar for. because of her coloring I got this color specifically because instead of standing out and being awkward it actually compliments her coloring and looks part of her fur. it is flexible, very small width (specifically 3/8) and is also a soft leather that slides easy on their body so it does not catch on the fur whatsoever. Poppy really enjoyed having the collar on after a couple hours of course, she's not used to the sound of the bell just yet but all in due time. I got the smaller one to begin with for poppy because her neck is tiny but by the end of October possibly November she should be moving into the next size up. her neck is only four and a half possibly 5 in around so this size is perfect for her.. the vet said she is a tiny kitten for her size (she is the runt of seven kittens and had to be bottled fed because the mother pushed her away) and unless you go through a massive growth but she will always be tiny. thank you chewy for having a beautiful selection of collars both for cats and dogs.

The collar is *just a tiny bit* too short to tuck the extra into the D-ring, so both of my cats always have the end sticking out randomly. The bell color doesn’t quite match the collar color on either of them but that’s no big deal for me since I take off the bell anyway. I’m hoping these will be difficult enough to get off unlike the easy release plastic clasp on most collars that my cats have figured out how to release so the fabric collar can be gnawed on to oblivion. So far they’ve stayed on, though they do have the elastic part to allow for them to slip off over their heads if they get entangled. Overall it is at least temporarily solving my problem, so far.
